“Lethe”

We were inspired by the story of Daphne for this campaign. A woman (River Spirit) turned into an inanimate object by her father in order to protect her from the possessive advances of Apollo. In the original story, that’s how it ends. But we’d like to imagine a day where she gets to play by her river- interact freely with people without fear- before losing her agency once more. We are all pursued, surveilled, and used for the agendas of our own modern Apollos. So, we sought to capture how it would feel to only be ourselves for a single sunset. Fashion images excite me because they capture how it would feel to be there wearing the piece.

"Rancho Los Primos"

Got the chance to record some charreria practice back when i was in Mexico. I rode one of the horses too (not pictured above.) It's an amazing expression of connection with yourself, the animal, and the earth.
