I've been waiting to get my hands on this cassette for over 30 years, and I didn't care what condition it was in--but look at this perfectly preserved piece of Texas hip hop history!!! The first time I heard UGK was from this tape, not the Jive Records version, but the OG VERSION....THEIR FIRST PRESS EVER!!!!! It has the original version of 'Tell Me Something Good' that many UGK fans have never heard, but its the version I always rapped over the more censored & "appropriate" version that most of us are familiar with. Too Hard To Swallow was not UGK's first album like many believe, The Southern Way was. Once Jive signed them they were forced to change up the lyrics on certain songs, as well as completely remove others. As a result of the new heavily censored industry version, we also got the UGK: BANNED cassette, which had the unedited & deleted tracks that were all originally on this EP. Andddddd, this isn't the blank white inside cover copy, this is the full inside photo og cover.
