Finished commission for MightyRat on FurAffinity!

Zale and Gaomon having a relaxing morning stroll~

I find this one refreshing to do! Finally, a non-humanoid polished furry art for a change xD

Feels like I had hit another roadblock on cell shading tbh. But this is the best I can do for now xd

art: VintFux
Gaomon (Digimon): Bandai
Zale and Gaomon (character): MightyRat on FurAffinity

CSP, ~31hrs
(I legit don't know how the hecc I spent that much time on this?)

Finished on Jul 31, 2023

I love Ace Combat!!! It's Nugget! He is ready to take to the skies!!! My first time actually making a commemorative art for a game release lol. I usually never bother bc whoops busy y'know day job and all. Took 6 hrs in total!

It's also my first time actually drawing a fighter jet seriously so pardon the inaccuracies. It's supposed to be a Hornet tho!

Im gonna ramble a bit. Probably gonna be a bit all over the place bc guess what? I'm down with flu again and I cant rly think rn 😭

I was always frustrated that I never stumbled upon a game with good flying mechanics. I've been fascinated with flight for so long lol and I'm so bummed that most games that feature flight are so barebone. Either the character slides pathetically on the z axis, or the flight is very limited. Like no I do not want to just make the character go up and down and watch an animation play LEMME HAVE MORE CONTROL RAGHHH!!!

"Just play a flight sim...," NO! I DO NOT want a flight sim!!! I want a full fledged game with good flight mechanics, good engaging story and characters, and fun gameplay loop!

Cue Ace Combat 7 xD Crashing into my PS5 library thanks to my PS+ sub. Honestly, NEVER heard of the series before, ever. I mean... I normally don't have interest in vehicles and my dad never played any vehicle games as well. So, one day after work I just looked at my library, looking at my unfinished Dragons Dogma 2 playthrough and thinking, "Ugh... this game is rly nice but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the scale. Maybe let's try... huh what's this? Ace Combat? Fine, I'll crash some planes or smth for fun..."
Lo and behold I ended up getting hooked to it xDDDDDD It's what Ive been looking for this entire time! The flight feels so good and badass!!! Not to mention the story, lore, and stuff as well! It's why I'm so bonkers abt it!!!

Plus it turns out, after a bit of reflection, I DO have a dormant interest in fighter jets xDDDDD I just never realized it haha xD Commercial airplanes? Nah. Fighter jets? Yes siree! Sleek and hot, and so fast and cool! They're the closest thing we have to irl dragons! Maybe one day I'll talk abt it. I'm running out of space here lol.

Little fanart of Ersatz: Trench Dogs.

It's kinda a light sketch tbh. Drawn over the dog-man diagram from the short. Been feeling pretty crappy abt life in general and my own stuff, so decided to take it slow and draw something "chill".

I rly like Charlie and Cathy from Trench Dogs. by @vintfux

VintFux friccin drawing a vehicle and suddenly developing interest in fighter jets xDD Not in my 2026 bingo card at all xDDDD

Anyway, I recently watched Top Gun 1 for the first time. I liked the sequel more, but I can imagine Top Gun 1 was probably rly good back when it came out in 1980s.

I loved the carrier scenes a lot in both Top Gun movies so here's a crudely referenced sketch I drew in 30mins. For warmup as well xP

Time to go back to working on comm. Been busy with a LOT of fam stuff on top of usual work stuff xd

Oh no Kirei is stuck and is not enjoying her time ú.ù

Idk what Im doing with this one. I certainly missed drawing more humanoid furries and decided I wanna draw Kirei in her more humanoid form squished in a box… kinda. Rusty as hecc. And I certainly wanted to draw sexy or smth.

Anyway, someone help her out xDD
