💚 NORDIC SUMMER COOKBOOK 💚
(Rakkaimmat kesäreseptini🌿)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 It feels unreal that a book I’ve been working on for years is soon here. Nordic Winter Cookbook was my love letter for mystical winters, Nordic Summer Cookbook is my ode to magical summers of north.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 This book is my way of capturing the true soul of Nordic summers. It’s celebrates the unique nature of Finland, beauty of local produce and recipes that invite you to slow down, forage, and savor every sunlit moment. I want my recipes to embrace Nordic roots and traditions, brought to life with light and modern, seasonal touches.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿Beyond recipes, the book offers gentle inspiration for Nordic summer living — from seasonal celebrations and curated menus to wildflower wreaths and soulful table settings.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From my heart to your table — I wanted to pour a season’s worth of beauty and meaning into these pages so I hope these words, flavors, and moments bring you as much joy and inspiration. 💚
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔥 Nordic Summer Cookbook is now available for to order at BeMyCozy.com and from various retailers!

Today, my beloved father, you departed from this world.🤍🕊️

No words can capture the depth of the sorrow and longing you have left behind. You left far too soon. There are countless moments I still wished to share with you. I longed for you to walk me down the aisle. I longed for you to meet your future grandchildren. But life does not always follow the path we dream of.

And yet, above the grief, there is also gratitude and joy, for I was blessed with thirty years beside the best father I could have hoped for. Your humor, your warmth, your tenderness, and your strength have been the pillars of my life. How deeply I will miss them all. You gave your very all for those you loved.

Your final moments were spent with us at home, surrounded by the people dearest to your heart. Just as you would have wished.

Carry my love to Grandma and Grandpa. I know you are watching over us now from there. The day will come when we are together once more. 🤍 by @violaminerva

While most long for the hot summer days to come back, I’ve come to cherish these rainy days. After the rain, nature blooms. On grey days, there’s a certain kind of peace in lighting a candle, curling up with a book, and listening to the soft rhythm of raindrops dancing on the roof.

Rain also works its magic in the forest and the mushroom season is looking good so far! 💛 I’m not saying it’s autumn yet but I admit my favourite season is in its way!

Summer’s warmth begins to fade, yet golden sunsets and lingering rays still remind of the heat. What could be sweeter than one last rowing trip on the river, with Finnish pancake and homemade strawberry–vanilla jam as our simple feast 🍓 🥞🍷

From my Nordic Summer Cookbook.

Peony season is here 🌸 I planted five peonies to our garden last year and can already see most of them blooming. Can’t wait for them to grow during the next years!

Spruce tip lemonade from my new book 💚

I’ve been writing down our Midsummer menu, mostly picking recipes from the book – it feels so odd that after years of enjoying the same favourites through my summers I can finally read my recipes from an actual book!

I’ll share my Midsummer menu with you tomorrow! ✨
