My left big toe joint has been intermittently giving me fits for the last few weeks. Initially, I thought it was just something minor (run-of-the-mill arthritis) since it would go away but then a couple nights ago, it flared up and was killing me. I could barely put weight on it and after I climbed into bed, I had to get up and take an Aleve because the pain was so intense—my toe knuckle felt like it was burning! 🔥 Thankfully, after about 10 minutes, the pain and sensation subsided and I fell asleep. Today, I can barely tell I had any issues at all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Dr. Chat GPT: You’ve got gout. NSAIDS are often effective in reducing pain and inflammation.

Ya’ll know I love cars and I love spotting something interesting on the road… or parked. While driving through Georgetown in DC yesterday, I look over and spy a car I’ve never seen. Turns out it’s a Nissan Pao (produced between 1989 and 1991). Right-hand drive too! I often get asked about what I do for work. Well, I designed this. It’s 5 separate panels for a conference that can be displayed together or separately. (I do a lot of reports but I also get asked to create other projects.) Bonus, it’s always great to make our clients happy. 👍🏽 by @violasboy

Today, April 3, 2026, I publicly celebrate my mother, Viola Elizabeth Allen, on the 100th anniversary of her birth. A fantastic woman who left us all a little too soon. She has never been very far from my thoughts and is still missed since she suffered a heart attack and died on August 26, 1993.
