Most people wait until their skin is completely dry.

That's the window — missed.

Most people moisturize after their skin is already dry.

That's too late.

Your skin loses moisture all day long — faster when your barrier is already compromised. Eczema-prone skin is like a cracked clay pot. No matter how much water you pour in, it keeps leaking out.

The fix isn't just what you put on. It's when.

Right after you shower — while your skin is still slightly damp — is your most important window. That's when your skin is primed to absorb. Wait until you're fully dry and you've already lost that window.

Pat dry. Don't rub. Apply your barrier oil immediately. Within two to three minutes.

That one habit change makes more difference than almost anything else I can tell you.
