ONALAJA S/S 27 London Fashion Week Show.

A huge congratulations to @onalajaofficial @kkencoo and the whole team for such a successful collection and show!

I made memories for life meeting the most amazing people and had the exciting opportunity to work backstage fitting models and ensuring everything was ready.
The hours of working ahead of the show were so so worth it and I can’t wait to continue learning more during my time @onalajaofficial by @violetedwards_textiles

In June I graduated with a First Class Honours after 3 amazing years building experience and skills studying BA Hons Textile Design.

I am so excited for all the amazing opportunities I have coming up over the next few months, so stay tuned for updates!

I am also open to work so reach out if you are interested in collaborating or have any freelance or work opportunities.

I can’t wait to continue my path within the textiles industry 🙂

What an amazing week I had at New Designers!
I loved meeting the industry, graduates and the public and talking through my concept and development of my FMP ‘Bioluminescence’.
I am super grateful to have received 4 commendations! Thank you to @sageautomotiveinteriors @handandlockprize @wilcom_europe @priestmangoode for giving me the time and opportunity to talk through my project :)

I was also given the opportunity to attend an interview with @texplusuk as a shortlisted graduate during my time in London. The experience and feedback I gained from this opportunity was highly beneficial and valuable.

And then it was all over…
I have had the most incredible time at
New Designers and have met and spoken to so many incredible and talented people!

I am so grateful to have had my designs commended by @priestmangoode @sageautomotiveinteriors @handandlocklondon @wilcom_europe

And a huge thank you to @madeirauk @bella.tela for supporting me throughout my final year.

More posts of my time @newdesigners to come 🎉

Please get in touch if you are open to any collaborations or have potential job opportunities 🙂

I’ve had the best time developing my samples ready for my FMP! Bright colours, innovation and material exploration are all elements I love to push in my design work and this project and has given me the opportunity to push my creativity. I can’t wait to see my final collection come together and am so grateful for all the support I have received so far 🫶🏼✨ #textiledesign #artsuniversitybournemouth #embroidery #fashiondesign #stitch by @violetedwards_textiles
