Jesus be the center of it all

This Thanksgiving I had the opportunity to return to Guatemala with CKM and serve the community in District 18! This area is home to 30,000 people living on just 120 acres. Their realities are heartbreaking. Seven out of ten women are sexually abused by age fifteen, and by twenty-three many already have five children by four different men. Due to gang violence, the average male dies around age thirty, often after taking multiple lives. The darkness there is real but so is the hope that only Jesus can give!!

This past week reminded me so clearly of what it means for Jesus to be the center of it all. Being there, serving people whose daily reality is so heavy, showed me that true hope doesn’t come from circumstances, comfort, or what we can fix on our own. It comes from Jesus!!!! In the middle of brokenness, I saw joy, strength, and unity that could ONLY EVER come from Him! I was constantly reminded that when Jesus is at the center, love becomes deeper, purpose becomes clearer, and service becomes more than an action! It becomes worship!!! Guatemala showed me that a life rooted in Him can bring light to even the darkest places. Everything we do finds its meaning when He’s the one guiding it!!! There is so much hope in the name of Jesus!

Wow prayer is so powerful!!!! I’ve never seen the Lord move so much in just one week, and I truly believe it’s because we partnered literally everything with prayer. I’ve seen evidence that God hears, that He cares about the details, and responds when His people seek Him. This week has strengthened my faith in a whole new way because I’ve watched doors open, hearts change, and situations shift in ways I absolutely couldn’t have planned on my own. It’s so unfathomable to see how real His presence is and how faithful He is when we come to Him!!!!! by @violetstucky

The intentionality the Lord has shown me this week is absolutely insane. I am so thankful for my team and the numerous ways the Lord has shown up and revealed Himself!!! He is so good and kind to me.

Week 2!!!! 😊💐🤸☀️💗🎉

This week was so beautiful getting to see seeds scattered.. some uprooted and replanted, some getting watered and even touching soil for the first time. Others rapidly growing, flourishing and bearing fruit.

I got to witness dozens of souls get saved and many give their life to ministry. He is doing such a marvelous work. I am just so in awe. Lord send revival!!!!!!

Jesus your just so cool.

1 week. 1 Gospel. 216 salvations. 62 calls to ministry. 38 compassion kids sponsored. I am so eager and expectant for these upcoming couple weeks!!! What a faithful and amazing God I get to serve!!! This is literally when wind meets fire. He is saving, refining, purifying, healing, redeeming, igniting. PTL by @violetstucky

WHAT A MIRACULOUS WEEK THREE!!!!!! NEARLY 500 DECISIONS FOR CHRIST!!!!! CMON NOW 🙌🎉🥹

Going into my third Thursday night service I decided to spend some quiet time with the Lord instead of tuning in. I found a seat in overflow which contained about 15 staff and 10 campers/leaders. I opened to Romans 9 and 10. I’ve been highlighting all of this book in light pink, but when I came across Romans 10:15, I just couldn’t move past it. (“And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO SHARE THE GOOD NEWS!”) I ended up highlighting this verse in a different color and spent extra time praying over those words. Asking Him to use me wherever He has me instead of worrying about where He will have me.

When Clayton gave the call to ministry, four campers and one leader stood to surrender. As he opened the invite to the altar in the packed room, I watched the pocketful of students in the overflow room boldly walk forward, surrendering to the Lord’s will. Our staff then gathered around covering them in prayer.

I met a girl named Rebecca, who shared that she specifically feels called to be a missionary in the Amazon and study science. She had stood during the invitation but sat back down. I asked if she wanted to go to the altar but she told me her flip-flops were broken. I told her we can go barefoot together!! So then we both went dogs out down to the altar to lay everything before the Lord and express yes to His call to the mission field!!!

I looked down at our bare feet and it hit me!!!!! AHHHH Right before, I had specifically prayed that the Lord would use my feet to carry the Gospel wherever I AM. AND I got the opportunity to worship beside a camper who is the same age I was when I was called into missions. I got to praise Him for calling another laborer into His harvest. Another willing to share the good news wherever her feet are. Wow. Thank you Jesus for her broken flip flop!!!!

His confirmations are so personal. What a gift it was to worship, commune, and witness Him continue to call. His blood is still speaking and love still reaching!! by @violetstucky
