1 year♡ Eden is SO smart, such a treasure. At one year old she still prefers to crawl even though she has proven to us she can walk. She points, she waves & says hi, she dances, she gives high fives, she tries to put her own clothes on/brush her hair & teeth, she can climb... everything😅, cuddles the cats, plays peekaboo with us, says about 10-12 words, loves on her babydolls and stuffies, and "sings" along to tunes. She understands so much more than even I realize at times. Her current favorite things are her kitty stuffie, babydoll, and the cat food and water dishes. She likes to mimic us/our cats/other babies especially if it is something noisy or unexpected, and she loves water. She shows a preference for sitting with her legs crossed and still would prefer contact naps. Currently she strongly dislikes having her nails trimmed, being told not to bite, slimy textures, and being contained when she wants freedom (totally understandable).

8 months old now♡ The time is certainly slipping through my fingers. Every day I wake up to a slightly different version of Eden. This past month she learned how to crawl and how to clap. She loves pulling to stand so much so that I have trouble getting her to sit down now especially since she still needs support; and just forget about laying down on her back🤣 She still doesn't sleep through the night (at all!), nor does she like solids, but her little personality is coming through more and more every day which has been my greatest joy to witness.
She has been babbling non stop but her first word is, without a doubt, mama! I am so blessed. by @violette.digs.plants

30 weeks along and feeling grateful for the relative ease this pregnancy has been. The countdown to meeting our precious little lady has begun!
