Web3 has become a catch-all term for the vision of a new, better internet. 🪐✅🔏 At its core, Web3 uses blockchains, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs to give power back to the users in the form of ownership. A 2020 post on Twitter said it best: Web1 was read-only, Web2 is read-write, Web3 will be read-write-own. 🧐

This week, we also have been hard at work with our TOKENomics! So far we have onboarded 130+ holders, 1500 wallets ( or VV profiles) & 10 holders have purchased content! The $VV token denotes engagement on the platform, accessing token gated content, & rewarding our community by @violetverse.io

Last week was officially deemed Crypto Week in Miami.

The Miami Beach Convention Center was buzzing with founders, investors and friends from all walks of life. I got to chat with Maggie from @shefiorg! We just completed season 16 and loved the weekly modules with live classes. They are introducing a membership and ver excited to learn more about this amazing network. Also had dinner and went to that infamous consensus after party with @lindsayposs 👀💕 by @violetverse.io

Hosted at the newly reopened Shelborne by Proper on South Beach, WME’s Tennis division and Lalo Tequila kicked off the week with two of the WTA’s finest: Amanda Anisimova (currently ranked #6) and Zizou Berg (currently ranked #39). The crowd was so fit there wasn’t a vape or cigarette in sight, which says a lot for a Miami South Beach party. The right people were in the room. Everyone was glistening, lean, and radiating from the inside out. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve been to a party where people knew the difference between hard, clay and grass courts. Another group I guys that shall remain nameless school me on the appropriate grip to slice a ball on grass court, using one of the vintage Wilson rackets that decorated the room. After they left our sight, I remembered just where I knew him from. #miamiopen by @violetverse.io
