After many years of living Bergamo region, finally I got to be on stage at Teatro Donizetti di Bergamo.

Last night, my orchestra had a Lecture concert at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo. It was full house, packed with audience. How delightful to perform a place my family and friends love.

Thanks to my dear friend Y.Y. who always gives me beautiful soul, kindness, and abundance of joy. Although she is middle of busy day, she made time for aperitivo with me! I got re-energized afterwords!

20 September 2026,
After so many years of meeting him, we had a nice chat again. And finally I had a chance to perform Berlioz’s Harold in Italy, soloist by maestro Danilo Rossi, and me as a viola principal. His pianisimissimo sound was so sweet and enjoyable.

Thanks to the orchestra and maestro Danilo Rossi for an opportunity to learn more this remarkable piece.

During an Austrian 🇦🇹 concert tour in Graz, fortunately I could meet an inventor of COMOSONO, Mr. Sebastian Gogl.

I am very delighted to have my own personalized COMOSONO, a practice mute for all professional violinists and violists 🎻. For cellos? Stay in tune!!!

On 9-days tour, we must eat out all the time. Of course local food we try, but we missed some Asian cuisine. We found the Vietnamese restaurant which is far good than some of in Milan.

It was like a festival week for me.

2 orchestras in 2 cities, united together for 1 program, performing in both cities.

My orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, and La toscanini di Parma where I was several times invited to play as a principal viola, had a collaboration program this week.

United sound in both concert halls, made such a positive effect in both cities. It was a return project from 7 years ago. Not just between musicianship between colleagues, but also friendships were everywhere.

I was so happy to see many friends and colleagues making music together. Not that often this would happen, but when it happened this kind of opportunity, we learn from each other. The sound might not be the same as we used to listen, but more colorful variations we could feel.

I truly appreciate both foundations for such an opportunity, and we return to our city with joyful feelings.

The last season concert program with Cuban Overture!
Milan is HOT 🥵 like Cuba 🇨🇺, like heated island. 🏝️

I need some improvisation of my cooking 🧑‍🍳 with CANOCCHIE, mantis shrimps, シャコ. Instead of white wine 🍷, I used VODKA from Russia (from Russian Tour, I bought many of them😂).

Buon appetito 😋.
(It was BUONISSIMA 🤤 so that I forgot taking pictures with pasta!)

This is an autobiography book of my teacher, Alan deVeritch who was a solo violist from age 12, and served also as the White House Quartet, a principal violist of Los Angeles philharmonic, and a guest principal of New York Philharmonic in the past.

In this book, you can read the meeting and discussion with sir William Walton, relationship with William Primrose, Zubin Mehta, and many more stories in the past. Surprisingly on page 402 & 403, he wrote about me!

Even in Europe, you can buy at Amazon:

Today also I had a very long and interesting talk 📞 with my teacher. It’s always nice to catchup and discuss many things.

The recording of this concerto is one of Alan’s successful students, Paul Neubauer. All Alan’s students know about bowings, note-changing, and the meeting with Walton😉.
