A woman has taken to social media to appeal to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray for help, alleging harassment and corruption by personnel of the Mumbai Police. In the video, she shows several police personnel standing in front of her stall, with one allegedly stopping customers from approaching it.

The woman claims that the police personnel were demanding ‘hafta’ and preventing her from serving customers, leaving her unable to earn a livelihood. Appealing for intervention, she says she has two children to feed and depends on her stall for survival. The allegations have raised concerns over alleged corruption and the harassment of small street vendors.

Tesla has demonstrated its redesigned Roadster performing unusual manoeuvres, bringing the idea of flying cars closer to public attention. During an event at a SpaceX facility in McGregor, Texas, on October 15, the electric sports car drove along a specially designed curved ramp, continued upside down and briefly flew through the air before landing safely. The demonstration came nearly nine years after Tesla first unveiled the next-generation Roadster in November 2017.

Elon Musk shared a video of the demonstration on his social media platform, X, with the caption, “Turns out the future does have flying cars.” Tesla’s official account also posted footage of the event, showcasing the vehicle’s unusual movements.

The redesigned Roadster features SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters, which use pressurised gas to generate thrust. The technology is designed to enable movements beyond the capabilities of conventional road cars.

However, the demonstration took place under controlled conditions and does not establish whether the technology can be used for everyday transportation. The vehicle has not been indicated as approved for airborne operation on public roads, leaving questions about safety, regulations and practicality unresolved.

Tesla first announced the next-generation Roadster in 2017, but repeated delays have kept customers waiting for years. According to reports following Thursday’s unveiling, production is now planned to begin in 2028. While the demonstration has renewed interest in flying-car technology, it remains uncertain whether the Roadster’s capabilities will translate into practical transportation. For now, the stunt showcases experimental automotive engineering rather than a commercially viable flying car. by @viral.it.2

7 Days. One Challenge. The Nation Deserves Answers. 🇮🇳🔥

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has become the centre of attention following a strong statement regarding allegations of “Vote Chori” (vote theft). The debate over electoral transparency, accountability, and public trust has once again taken the spotlight.

The message being circulated is clear: Prove the allegations with evidence or apologise to the nation. But beyond political arguments and viral statements, the bigger question remains — how can public confidence in the electoral process be strengthened?

In a democracy, every vote matters, every allegation deserves proper scrutiny, and every institution must be accountable under the law. Serious claims should be backed by verifiable evidence, and the facts should be allowed to speak for themselves.

Because democracy is not just about winning elections; it is about protecting the people's trust in the system. 🇮🇳

What do you think? Should allegations of vote theft be investigated transparently whenever credible evidence is presented? Share your views in the comments. 👇

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, best known for Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na and nephew of superstar Aamir Khan, has been directed by Mumbai Police to leave India by October 28, 2026, following his participation in a political protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

According to reports, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) of Mumbai Police issued a Leave India Notice to the actor, citing alleged violations of immigration regulations. Police said action was initiated because Khan participated in the demonstration despite not being an Indian citizen.

The controversy began on October 10, when Khan joined a protest organised in support of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan. Demonstrators were demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities.

Khan was detained alongside his partner, actress Lekha Washington, and cousin Zayne Marie Khan before being released. He later shared a photograph from inside a police van, writing, “Apparently I’m going for a drive.” Police maintained that the demonstration lacked the required permission.

The actor’s citizenship status subsequently came under scrutiny after former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya approached Mumbai Police, alleging that Khan was an American citizen holding an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. Somaiya demanded action, arguing that participating in a political agitation violated the conditions governing his stay in India.

Under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution, the fundamental right to assemble peacefully without arms is specifically guaranteed to Indian citizens, not foreign nationals. However, whether Khan’s participation violated immigration or OCI conditions, and whether it legally justifies requiring him to leave India, are separate questions.

Khan had earlier maintained that he attended the protest as a Mumbai resident, not as a representative of any political organisation.

As of the latest reports, Khan has been given until October 28 to leave India, with no confirmed public response from the actor to the notice. by @viral.it.2

In a major verdict in one of India’s most horrifying murder cases, a Meerut court on Wednesday, October 14, sentenced Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla to death for the brutal murder of Muskan’s husband, Saurabh Rajput, whose dismembered body was discovered sealed inside a cement-filled blue plastic drum in March 2025.

District Judge Arvind Kumar Mishra pronounced the sentence after a lengthy trial involving 126 hearings and testimonies from 22 witnesses. Both were convicted on September 30, with the prosecution seeking capital punishment, arguing that the brutality and premeditated nature of the crime placed it in the “rarest of rare” category.

The case dates back to March 3, 2025, when Saurabh Rajput, a 29-year-old former Merchant Navy officer, was murdered at his residence in Meerut. According to investigators, Muskan mixed sedatives into her husband’s food before Sahil arrived. The two then stabbed Saurabh to death and dismembered his body inside the bathroom.

In an attempt to conceal the crime, they placed his remains inside a large blue plastic drum and sealed it using cement, sand and water. The duo subsequently travelled to Himachal Pradesh, while Muskan allegedly used Saurabh’s phone to send messages to his family, creating the impression that he was still alive.

The horrifying murder came to light after Saurabh’s family grew suspicious of his disappearance. When police investigated the house, they discovered his remains inside the sealed drum. The shocking details triggered nationwide outrage and made the case one of the country’s most widely discussed crimes.

During the trial, prosecutors presented forensic findings, call records, location data and witness statements connecting the two to the murder. Shopkeepers also testified about the purchase of materials allegedly used to conceal Saurabh’s body.

Saurabh’s family had repeatedly demanded the death penalty, with his mother questioning why Muskan chose to kill her son instead of separating from him. by @viral.it.2

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to Tihar Jail for five days after a Delhi court ordered their judicial custody on Wednesday, October 14, over allegations of violating peace bonds and illegally entering Jantar Mantar.

The two were produced before the Special Executive Magistrate Court at Mandir Marg after being detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday. Police alleged that both leaders had breached conditions imposed during their previous release, under which they were required to maintain peace for one year.

The controversy began on October 13, when Das, Ranka, Ajinkya Shinde and other CJP volunteers reportedly climbed over locked gates and police barricades to enter Jantar Mantar, just a day after the iconic protest venue was officially removed from Delhi’s list of designated demonstration sites.

Videos circulating online showed protesters entering the barricaded premises with the Indian national flag and raising slogans demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. Police personnel subsequently intervened and detained them.

According to police sources, the leaders were booked on allegations including trespassing, violating prohibitory orders, breaching peace bonds and obstructing public servants from performing their duties.

Notably, Das and Ranka had previously been detained on October 10 and released after furnishing bonds of ₹50,000 each, undertaking not to engage in activities that could disturb public peace for one year. Police maintained that their latest actions violated those conditions.

Meanwhile, Ajinkya Shinde, who was detained alongside them, was released after furnishing a separate ₹5,000 bond.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke strongly criticised the arrests, claiming the leaders were being punished for unfurling the Tricolour and accusing the government of suppressing democratic dissent. The party’s legal team also alleged that its members had been denied timely access to lawyers. by @viral.it.2

With millions of fans and a powerful personal brand, Kohli already commands enormous attention. His presence on LinkedIn could open new conversations around leadership, discipline, performance, entrepreneurship and brand building. by @viral.it.2

India has once again emerged as the world’s fastest-growing major economy, with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projecting GDP growth of 7% for both FY 2026-27 and FY 2027-28. The latest forecast, released on October 13, reinforces India’s economic momentum even as several major economies struggle with geopolitical tensions, rising oil prices and slowing global growth.

In its October 2026 World Economic Outlook, the IMF upgraded India’s growth forecast for FY27 from 6.4% to 7%, while raising its FY28 estimate from 6.7% to 7%. The organisation attributed the improved outlook to strong domestic consumption, resilient demand, robust services activity and continued economic reforms.

India’s growth is expected to significantly outpace other major economies, including China, which is projected to expand by 4.5% in 2026 and 4% in 2027. In comparison, the global economy is forecast to grow by just 3.1% in 2026 and 3.4% in 2027.

India first overtook China as the fastest-growing major economy in 2015, establishing itself as a key driver of global economic expansion. However, its lead has not been uninterrupted. China grew faster in 2017 and 2019, while India’s economy suffered a particularly severe contraction in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. India subsequently recovered, recording stronger growth than China in 2021.

The latest IMF projections also follow an upward revision by the Reserve Bank of India, which recently increased its own growth estimate for FY27 to 7.1%. The IMF highlighted India’s favourable demographics, expanding domestic market and structural reforms as important factors supporting its long-term economic potential.

However, the organisation cautioned that elevated energy prices, inflationary pressures and geopolitical instability could still pose challenges, particularly because India relies heavily on imported crude oil.

Despite these uncertainties, India’s projected 7% growth for two consecutive financial years underscores its position as a major engine of global economic growth at a time when the wider world economy is expanding at less than half that pace. by @viral.it.2

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were detained by Delhi Police once again on Tuesday, October 13, after they jumped over a gate and entered Jantar Mantar in an attempt to stage a protest. The dramatic scenes unfolded just a day after authorities removed the iconic location from Delhi’s list of designated protest sites.

Videos shared on social media show Das, Ranka and several CJP supporters climbing over an iron gate and barricades while carrying the Indian national flag. The group can be heard shouting slogans including “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Inquilab Zindabad” as police personnel rush to intercept them. The protesters briefly confront the officers before being detained.

According to police sources cited by The Indian Express, the group allegedly accessed the area through the premises of the Janata Dal (United) office located next to Jantar Mantar. CJP member Ajinkya Shinde and several other volunteers were also detained during the incident.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke subsequently shared footage of the confrontation, declaring that the authorities could not suppress their movement simply by removing Jantar Mantar’s designation as a protest venue. Meanwhile, Das announced on X that Jantar Mantar had been “reclaimed”, presenting the action as a message to young supporters.

The fresh detentions come just three days after Das, Ranka and Dipke were detained on October 10 ahead of their planned demonstration demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities. The leaders were subsequently released on Sunday.

On Monday, Delhi Police announced that Jantar Mantar would no longer serve as a designated protest venue, identifying Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground as alternatives.

CJP had also issued a 24-hour ultimatum demanding that police specify a date for its proposed demonstration.

Police are reportedly considering registering an FIR over Tuesday’s incident, although no filing had been confirmed at the time of reporting. by @viral.it.2

An old video of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani discussing his father Dhirubhai Ambani’s journey from humble beginnings to building one of India’s biggest business empires has resurfaced online, at a time when billionaire Elon Musk has been publicly targeting him over Starlink’s entry into India.

In a June 2025 interview with McKinsey, Ambani recalled how his father, the son of a schoolteacher, worked at a petrol station in Yemen and saved his first $100 before returning to Mumbai to pursue his business ambitions.

According to Ambani, Dhirubhai began with just one table, one chair, a telephone and ₹1000 in capital. What started as a modest trading business eventually expanded into textiles, petrochemicals and several other industries, laying the foundation for Reliance Industries.

Ambani also credited his father’s long-term vision for shaping the company’s philosophy of building businesses capable of serving millions of Indians.

The renewed attention comes amid an escalating dispute between Musk and Ambani over delays in launching SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service in India.

Musk recently questioned Ambani’s influence, asking on X, “Is Ambani the real boss of India?” He subsequently addressed the Reliance chairman sarcastically as “Prime Minister Ambani” while accusing powerful business interests of obstructing competition in India’s telecom market.

India’s Communications Ministry has rejected allegations of preferential treatment, maintaining that Starlink and other satellite operators are undergoing similar regulatory and security-clearance procedures. Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also dismissed concerns about monopolies, while Reliance has not publicly responded to Musk’s accusations. by @viral.it.2
