🔥 It’s only a crazy dream…until you do it 🔥

Only 5 weeks (!!!) of prep with @jpgcoaching with lots of discipline and determination to get a second place finish at my first men’s physique competition 🏆

A huge shout-out to my parents, @mahi268, @yashsoup, and all my friends that were watching live stream from home and blowing up my phone 😂❤️

I spent the last year living in Buenos Aires, Argentina and it changed the way I see life.

1. There, people don’t ask what you do. They ask what makes you happy and what nurtures your soul.

2. Life is lived outside. Plazas are full of people, dogs, vendors, and music. If it rains, the streets go quiet. If it’s sunny or cloudy, the city breathes liveliness.

3. Affection is normal and strangers greet you with kisses. Community is real. Neighbors share mate, parilla, asado, and time. In USA, it feels weird not receiving or giving kisses.

4. Time feels endless. Dinner is at 10pm and nights start at 2am. There is always something happening.

5. Nature isn’t an escape like it is in USA. In Argentina, it’s everywhere.

6. There’s little obsession with flexing. Pride exists, but not to impress. In USA, people flex everything from houses and watches to job titles and status. BUT…they will flex their Argentinian pride FULLY. VAMOS ARGENTINA!!!

7. Every day feels like an adventure. The amount of activities is endless. Fresh air is a necessity, not a luxury.

8. Spirituality is lived, not marketed like it is in USA. Peace is protected at all costs, no matter if you’re poor or rich.

9. I truly learned what privilege means: money, movement, choice...while seeing people daily search for food and furniture in garbage bins. It humbled me in ways I’ll never forget. Never.

10. There is barely any English spoken. I had to overcome a massive language barrier. People helped me a lot to pick up Argentinian Spanish and I was not ridiculed. In USA, you’d be ridiculed or told to “go back to your country” if you couldn’t speak proper English. I learned as much Argentine Spanish as I could. The second most spoken language is Portuguese.

Buenos Aires didn’t just host me. It reshaped me and it has my heart…fully.
