The Loring House designed by architect Richard Neutra in 1958 out of the previously posted VDL Residence and Design Studio (@vdlhouse) in Silver Lake, for dancer and choreographer Eugene Loring.

The Loring House is a compound in the Hollywood Hills with panoramic views of the surrounding canyons. Its rooms form a modular mid-century layout recognized throughout Neutra’s works. The house is celebrated for its “boxcar” style, spider-leg columns, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.

There was a primary suite and bath extension by design duo Escher GuneWardena (@egarchla), and a detached guest house designed by Steven Ehrlich, founding partner at EYRC Architects (@eyrcarchitects).
