MY SERVICES!!!! It’s easy to read a list of services, but it is hard to see if they are actually services that could benefit you as a designer. Let’s take a deeper look at the services I offer... Client Communication: This may look like you creating an email for me at your domain and then routing all of your inquiries or client questions to me. Or this may look like me hopping on client calls for you, or responding to any DMs you may receive as inquiries. This is simply letting me communicate with your clients for you to give you extra time back! Project Management: This may look like letting me help you keep track of your client’s deadlines and tasks Maybe that is instituting a new project management system, or reorganizing a system that you already have and maintaining that system for you. This service helps give you clarity about any upcoming tasks and making sure that you don’t miss any deadlines. Client Onboarding/Off-boarding: This might look like sending all documents, contracts, and invoices to clients. I'd make sure that when they come into your business they have all of the paperwork taken care of and they can immediately start on the next steps. & I'd make sure that when they leave your business they have all of their designs and have completed every off-boarding step! Handing off this service to me takes the stress of back-end paperwork off of you! CRM Management: This might look like either helping you implement a new CRM system that you've been thinking about starting for a while. Or, if you feel unorganized and afraid to tackle your already existing and messy CRM, we can work through streaming it together! In case you are unfamiliar with what a CRM is, it is a Customer Relationship Management tool! This is a system where you can store all kinds of information (documents, signed contracts, etc.), where you can keep track of all of your client interactions, where you can set reminders, organize invoices and payment methods, and so much more! 🤍 I like to think of it like a “Business Headquarters” It’s a place where you can organize a lot of your business into one platform and it is a very valuable tool if your business has begun to grow and you are beginning to feel overwhelmed. However, CRMs themselves can be very overwhelming considering that there is so much that goes into maintaining a CRM. Hello lovelies! ✨💕 I feel like a lot of the time you run across lists of services but don’t exactly know what they could do for you or if they would even be valuable! That is why I am talking through each of my services! Everyone likes to see the end goal, so that is what I’m showing you today through project management! Having a partner alongside you who is helping you keep track of all of the moving parts in your business is so so so important and can be a MAJOR stress reliever. Onboarding and Offboarding! Lets talk about this service! 💻🤎 Last week I hopped on my story and was talking about this service! About how it is such a valuable service for designers and how it can truly give so much time back to business owners. Outsourcing your onboarding and offboarding process to a virtual assistant can take so much off your plate and give time back to the things you want to focus on. Whether that be hobbies or another part of your business you want to put more time into. 🤎november to-do 🍂 I personally am a major to-do list person (maybe just a list person in general) (I like lists okay) so, writing down a couple goals I would like to complete (or attempt to complete) each month is extremely helpful for me. Seeing them down on paper or screen is a great way to make the goals feel more concrete and attainable. Hello lovelies, I hope you are doing well this last day of October! Today, I wanted to share with you the story and reasons behind how I got started as a virtual assistant! 💻🩷 It started as a peaked interest but turned into so much more. I was a full-time student and finishing up classes one semester and I knew that I wanted to find a job where I could work from home or campus. I commuted to and from classes every day for 30 minutes each way and from my old job and back. All of that commuting was taking a lot of time from my day. I had been trying to find a remote working job for a while, looking to find something that would be available for me to do as a student. Then one beautiful and fateful day I came across virtual assistance and I was immediately interested. 💡 It fit my needs as a student and as someone who was trying to work hard but still retain some personal hours for school work. I knew almost instantly that this was something I wanted to invest my future time into. The tasks sounded like things I would love to do (I love love love organization) and it would still provide me with time to work on my studies and attend classes. I took a couple of months to do sufficient research and set up my business, prayed over this new endeavor, and then I launched! 🤭 🪩 I am truly passionate about helping others do what they’re passionate about. Did you know that it’s actually self-care for you to outsource your back-end work to get back time for your personal life. Hiring is self-care! 💅 🛁 💆‍♀️ This is something that online business owners seem to need to be told over and over again! For some people, hiring some additional help can sometimes feel like a sign of weakness. This is so incredibly FALSE. Being at the point in your business where you feel it’s time to hire additional help is an amazing thing! It means that you have worked so hard to build your business up to a point where there is more work than you can handle on your own. This is a sign of success! 🪩 Not only is hiring a sign of success, hiring is also an amazing form of self-care! Being able to hire some additional help to take so much of the work load off of you is one of the most important form of self care when it comes to running your own business. But I know hiring is easier said than done. One of the easiest ways to offload your work to someone else is outsourcing that work to someone like a virtual assistant. Virtual assistants are different from hiring a full time employee. With virtual assistants, you find someone who is offering the services you are hoping to offload and they spend time throughout every week taking care of these time-consuming tasks. They typically do not expect employee benefits, office space, or any other overhead costs that typically come with having a traditional employee, but usually just work on a monthly retainer or hourly basis. 💻 Hiring is an amazing way to give yourself the rest that you need. there is a myth that circulates in the online business owner realm and that is "no time off is a flex" it's not. as an online business owner, especially one who works from home, it's hard to be able to know when to stop working. the best way to combat this issue? set strict working hours for yourself AND FOLLOW THEM! setting clear work hours for yourself is very important to when you work almost entirely on electronic devices, especially when you work from home. when you have and follow these strict hours it allows you to have sufficient time to get your work done, but also time to give to yourself for rest. if your saying, "but Madelyn! I have too much work to do! I don't have time to rest!", then that might be a sign its time to outsource. outsourcing your back-end work to a virtual assistant is something that many online business owners do. they can handle some of the admin tasks in your business that take up so much of your time. tasks like client communication, onboarding & offboarding, project management, and CRM systems management. not having to give so much of your valuable time to these tasks can make it available to use in other areas of your life. what would you do if you had hours of extra time a day?
