Farewell | #viruIency Today I say goodbye to #bf6 and possibly the #battlefield series. I was excited to take my knifeplay skills to BF6. However, after consideration the game series that got me into streaming/clips, has proven to be unenjoyable for this style of gameplay with its recent game. I understand the realism factor but there comes a point were realism tips the scale over and deducts from fun. That's what BF6 has been since release to me. This clip and clips before have proven it's possible. It's not that it's too difficult or challenging, it's that it's joyless. -Melee knife. It takes three knife strikes to kill someone. If we're talking realism, why should it take three melee strikes to the temporal region of the head to kill someone? By the time you do the three slow animations you get my next point to bring up, one-tapped. -One-tap. Ah yes, the BF6 one tap. This is the most overwhelming factor that seals in everything else. It doesn't matter pistol, LMG, SMG, hit your shots anywhere in the body and you can realistically 2-4 shots kill someone, which at the speed of the game, rate of fire, and frames is practically a one-tap. -Throwing Knives. Throwing knives feel like they were thrown in as a feature right before release. The trajectory was absurdly sporadic around release. You could aim at a stationary object, put your reticle on the same spot, from the same distance and it would either hit the mountain behind it or hit the ground in front of you. They have seemingly fixed the trajectory, which is great but the throwing animation is choppy and goofy. I respect the fact that it has to be a headshot to kill an enemy but the needle trajectory makes it inconsistent. Just today I hit the same enemy twice from a long distance (50-70m) with a beautiful trajectory but it doesn't get rewarded. -Slow movement. The movement on the ground is extremely sluggish when compared to the recent BF. There's no thrill in rushing someone. I have always been the aggressor in fps games, love pushing the objective. There's no fun doing that in this BF. Another game shall take its place soon, for now it's all Black Ops 7! #reels #stories #throwingknives #gaming by @virulency_gaming
