trim for Ella, very sugoi （╹◡╹）♡ yall can't tell me she doesn't look like a carbon copy of my fiance as a kid.

Ella trusted me to trim her hair. As yall know I've been wanting to update my portfolio and this was a perfect opportunity to let yall know I can in fact do more than what I show on my page. This is the beginning of the floodgates opening ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Ella requested that we keep her framing pieces and trim the back with alot of texture. She wanted to originally wanted to keep her front all long and one length, but I let her know that we could add a VERY small micro side bang in there that seemlessly blends into the framing side pieces for balance.

Her hair is INCREDIBLY delicate right now because of the bleach she has, so it was a bit overprocessed and her hair type is incrediblyyyy fine which means you have to be very careful with how aggressive you are because every single hair makes a difference. That's why I made a micro change and subtle cut.

I did minimal styling, just some twisting in the back and the small side bang everything else is sitting natural.

I'm getting more adjusted to longer hairstyling and need to adapt cause 14 years of my career have been with medium/short hair and have been more thick products with very high hold. So I'll be taking your advice as I begin to move towards longer lengths so thank you so much @thehairhuman for the product insight I shall get some soon in hopes to level up everything I will be doing here on out!

we love going more rough with texture and movement with his hair. Taking a lot of inspiration from short warrior styles within the lane of Japanese men haircuts.

broke up the fringe and created very uneven layers and gaps to enhance movement for easier styling.

keep feeding me with all textured haircuts. longer lengths I'm begging you. Men and women. All of you. Dm me.

short textured pixie mod [soft face framing] @juvenihilist

bleach job not done by me. Contemplating adding bleach/chemical services in the future. If so, it's game over.

I really wanted to go for a soft pixie style mod for wearability. As much as I love pushing right now for longer hairstyles, Houston Texas is fucking brutal, so edge compromisation is always on my mind.

My favorite thing to do lately has been to choose 1 inch section and twist and blunt cut them at variant sizes to allow for really strong texture with less product required.

latest work aka portfolio update

if you've been paying attention, lately I've been trying to completely shift and rebrand to more alternative work. The nature of who I am has always longed to do this, but I felt complacent for so long and I mean for years.

Why? Well, it's simple. Burnout. Creativity is something that comes and goes. When creativity is shelled within systems, it becomes more autonomous which leads to becoming a technical. Reps get you consistency, and I let that take over me for the past 8 or so years.

I've been cutting hair for about 13/14 years and with the revamp of the alt scene, I couldn't let opportunity pass me by because genuinely, this is my fucking environment.

My ego has never been so revitalized as of the past month, and I'm happy to say that i am currently experiencing a reawakening in my craft. So to all those that have been following me in the past couple weeks, to those who are reading this, thank you for being a part of the journey.

My goal by 2027 is to master the craft of fusing technical precision alongside chaotic imperfection. There will be a lot of change and from here on out.

It's strange, with social media lacking transparency, you never hear the bad, all you see is the things people want to see, which is the good. I became a technician in my field, fully forgetting how much creative I can supply to hair. I put that towards art, making manga, dabbling with tattoos, photography and the list goes on. This is the first time in my career I'm putting everything I have creatively into hair.

I'm beating a dead horse, but if you're looking for a full transformation and have longer hair (male or female) please check my highlights (want to do). I'm trying to shift completely to do the things I always wish I could have the clientele for. Houston is difficult to obtain this, considering I'm starting this revision late in my career but I'm happy to say, i don't give a fuck and I'm thriving more than ever in this space.

I want to become the best. That is my goal by December of 2027.

textured mullet/wolf/undercut for @waitwheresmypupusa

Thank you for the trust and letting me do my thing bro. Cut came out sick af. 2 things I had in mind for this haircut. Kawaki and Japanese hairstyles.

I went with an undercut and added high amount of texture through the hair. I'm testing out a new cutting technique and going to perfect it, will gatekeep until society canceles me for not sharing ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 jk.

Very satisfied with the results. The base I used bigsexy gel and styled with @fadedculture__ matte paste with very little tint twists and hold with hairspray. Less is best.

Cut, style, videos done in 40 minutes I'm fast af.

textured cut for Benson

Benson has incredibly fine Asian hair, very delicate and forms pockets of texture with a slight touch and is very resistant to wanting to lift off the scalp. So I decided to go about styling it very low, yet define the texture in parts of the head where I feel it matters.

He came in with shorter sides and back so the goal for this appointment was to texture everything internally and remove all the extra weight. So sideburns and nape we left alone for more growth.

He has incredibly sharp bone structure and facial features so to me, adding too much lift to the hair almost takes away from his face and don't want the hair to ever wear the person, at least that's always my goal with hair cutting and styling.

I kept it low, spiked, and defined since his hair naturally wants to stick together. For styling, in my head I envisioned Haikyuu characters and how their hair moves and defines itself.

Used @sexyhair volume gel and defined it with some @fadedculture__ matte clay and hairspray.

I wish to recreate every cool anime haircut irl so that's a goal for 2026's portfolio.

Some id like to do: Kagurabachi, Mushoko Tensei, Blue Lock, Dorohedoro and way more.

Noctis inspired mod @pablo.unknwn

Insane undercut bun transformation for my boy. He's been growing his hair and getting undercuts on the sides and back wearing it as a topknot and since he came back in town he trusted me to chop it up and make it have more edge. Thank you so much for the trust always bro.

I took this project by the loins. His hair is INCREDIBLY thick, so doing this, with the short back and sides with its thickness AND it being an undercut was definitely a challenge....but honestly I feel like we cooked. If you agree let me know man. Super happy with how this came out.

I'm telling yall, his hair is THICCCKKKK and seeing this outcome with a faux noctis/mod style fills me with joy.

Hair philosophy tangent pt. 1: edgy, clean & identifying your personal style

This is one of those topics I always hit on with my clients so hopefully you can gain some insight off of this. (Quick convo)

Understanding personal style comes first. Do you know what you vibe with? What's your feed look like? What clothing does your favorite celeb/muscian wear? How flexible is your job? Does your mother hate you? All these things play a major role in choosing what suits you best.

I believe all hairstyles are great and have their place in society. We need people to be different. That being said, is what you wear what you want? If not, you need to begin thinking of all these factors.

Understand the differences between harder and softer finished. I showed 2 types of mullets on my video. Edgy had stronger asymmetry and more texture to signal chaos creativity. On the other end, a cleaner mullet signals more control and uniformity. Which do you feel resonates with you? Something more lived in or something more perfectly put together? That's something you need to answer.

This philosophy can be applied to all things in life. The music you listen to. The tattoos you get. The clothing you wear. All of it is important to your net growth as an individual.

Hair is supposed to be fun and add to your vibe. Not take away from it. Know yourself, change and experiment to see what you like and dislike, you never know what you'll find out about yourself in the process.
