I almost convinced myself that it was “too much” to share another post about mental wellness.Then I looked at the reality in South Africa—the statistics, the silent struggles and the number of people carrying pain that nobody can see.So, I chose better.I chose to speak.I chose to share.I chose hope.Isaiah 26 reminds us that peace is not found in a perfect life. It is found in a steadfast heart that continues to trust God, one day and one small step at a time.“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Mandela Day reminded me that hope does not always arrive in big, dramatic moments. Sometimes it looks like people simply choosing to show up. ❤️🇿🇦This was more than 67 minutes of service. It was a real reminder of what can happen when heart, purpose and community come together.Through Fortunate Organisation and iKhaya LikaBaba, we had the privilege of sharing gifts, care, dignity and joy with children who deserve to feel seen, supported and celebrated.I was also deeply grateful to attend the GBWCCI Mandela Day celebration. Thank you to every organiser, guest, family and young person who made the day feel so meaningful.Every small act counted.Every willing hand made a difference.Every smile reminded us why service matters.As Mrs Face of the Universe South Africa 2027, I keep learning that visibility is not just about being seen.
