I took the first photo at a Settlement Day parade in Livingston, Guatemala where my parents are from. Whenever I visit,I can feel a sense of belonging that I don’t feel anywhere else. I get another piece of my mom and dad’s story. I get to visit the place that shaped them. The pride in my culture and heritage I feel when I’m there is something I will always cherish. The Second photo was a spontaneous shoot I did with a good friend. I truly believe that being in nature is the best way to observe the true artist that God is. Nature is home for me. It grounds me and rejuvenates me. The moment captured is my friend appreciating the grandness of this huge tree we stumbled upon while on our walk. It stretched as high as our eyes could see, and its trunk was so deeply rooted. It was the most regal thing I’ve ever seen. @visionary.lex 🇬🇹

📍 Now on display at @pascalprinting_fotoart until 6.30.26. Stop by to experience it in person. 🖼️📸

Return to home. A return to my roots. A return to my place of refuge — nature. These pieces are near and dear to my heart. Thank you to @blackgirlsshoottoo for such an amazing exhibit. These will be on display at Pascal Printing until the end of June. I hope they make you feel something. ✨

This experience was one I’ll never forget.🤞🏾

Your becoming was never meant to feel safe⠀
It was meant to feel sacred⠀
It’s not that you’re not ready⠀
It’s that you’re afraid to be seen in your fullness⠀
Your fear isn’t proof you’re unworthy⠀
It’s proof that somehting divine is trying to break through ⠀
There is a shift waiting for you ⠀
On the other side of the very thing you’re afraid to do⠀
