3 Questions Every Photographer Loves to Answer Before a Wedding ⬇️

I’m glad my first wedding inquiry didn’t work out…

Not because I wasn’t good. I just had ZERO wedding experience. And weddings are a different beast.

So if you’re engaged, save this before you book anyone:

1️⃣ Can I see a FULL wedding gallery?
Not just the 10 perfect shots on IG. You need the full day — harsh light, crying kids, sweaty dance floors. If they won’t show it, that’s a 🚩

2️⃣ How do you handle nervous brides?
Your comfort = your photos. A pro knows how to make you feel confident, not awkward.

3️⃣ What’s your backup plan if you’re sick?
No backup plan = no photos if they get the flu. A professional has a second shooter or associate ready.

BONUS: Get it in the contract!!
If it’s not in writing, it’s not guaranteed. Read it. Ask questions.

Tag an engaged friend who needs this
Save this for your photographer interviews.

One lens for the whole wedding? It’s the 85mm f/1.4 for me. 😤📸 Don’t come @ me🤣

If I could only carry ONE lens to a wedding, it’s the 85mm f/1.4. Yes, I know it won’t get every wide shot. But the compression, the creamy background blur, and the way it makes couples look are why I’d still pick it. Which lens would you take? Tell me below 👇
