A massive thank you to all the friends and family that have supported me through this journey. It took an army of support and I want to let every one of you that backed me know how much it meant that you got me through all of this. A few shots from 144 Hours spent exploring the Islands of British Columbia.

I’ve always had this crazy obsession with maps and geography. As a kid I owned a book that was filled with famous landmarks and locations around the world that I’d read about and memorize for fun. When surfing became a huge part of my life, I started looking at maps of the Pacific Northwest Coast and would fantasize about what kind of world was up there.

Fast forwarding to today, I’m so grateful for the places surfing has brought me, and the journey God has taken me on through it. Tofino and Victoria were places I never imagined being able to go to and they were far from disappointing. This definitely won’t be the last time visiting.

A few highlights from my years on the rock 🪨

I believe that God uses pivotal chapters in our lives to help us grow and learn more about who He is and how much He loves us. The last four years were really special in that now looking back I really can see the plan God had through all of the good times as well as the trials and hardships.

It wasn’t always easy or perfect, I made mistakes, I struggled, and there was a few moments where God really tested my faith and patience, but looking back I wouldn’t change a thing and I couldn’t be more grateful that God used a place like Hawaiʻi to build me into the man I am today.

I’m so glad I had amazing friends throughout my time here, awesome parents and family that allowed me to be here and supported me through my journey, and a loving and caring God that blessed me with so much more than I ever could’ve imagined.

“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.”
