Jessica + Ethan in Detroit.

What an incredible day we had with J + E earlier this year. Their engagement session felt like the perfect reflection of the two of them, personal, effortless, and filled with all the little places and moments that make their story theirs.

We started the afternoon at the iconic Michigan Central Train Station, wandering through one of Detroit’s most beautiful and historic spaces while capturing the kind of quiet, in-between moments we love most. From there, we headed to their favorite bar for a few drinks, a little laughter, and the kind of photos that feel less like posing and more like simply being together.

And then, as if Detroit had planned the ending for us, we made our way to the river just in time for the most vibrant sunset. The sky completely came alive, giving us the most beautiful backdrop to finish an already unforgettable evening.

It’s hard to believe how quickly the months have passed since this session. What started as an engagement session filled with so much excitement quickly turned into the days leading up to their wedding, and now, somehow, we’re here.

Tomorrow, we get to see J + E again and celebrate alongside the people who love them most as they officially begin this next chapter. We couldn’t be more excited to be there to document every beautiful, emotional, joy-filled moment of their day.
Detroit, you really showed off for these two.

Just in time to bring a little warmth into this freezing Michigan week. Maddie + Jon @thewarmemorial

Their engagement session took a wild turn when a sudden 15-minute storm rolled through, but it left us with the most incredible blue sky and they were more than ready to adapt and roll with it. Fast forward to the wedding day: absolutely perfect weather, a beautiful celebration, and a day they truly deserved. We couldn’t have been more honored to capture these memories. Happy 1 month of married life, N+A! We can’t believe it’s already been a month since we had the honor of capturing your beautiful wedding day.
One of our favorite memories was during their first look when a light rain began to fall. Without hesitation, Nicky + Ari grabbed an umbrella, embraced the moment, and continued enjoying every second together. It was such a perfect reflection of who they are: present, joyful, and completely focused on each other no matter what the day brings.
We also loved exploring downtown Birmingham together. From the timeless elegance of The Townsend Hotel to the charming streets and hidden corners nearby, there are so many beautiful locations that helped create unforgettable photographs.
And if the love and excitement during the day weren’t enough, the energy somehow tripled once the reception began. From the packed dance floor to the nonstop laughter and celebration, their family and friends brought an incredible atmosphere that carried through the entire night. A day filled with love, laughter, and a little rain, proof that the best moments are often the unexpected ones.

Some weddings just feel like a love story and Payton and Scott’s was truly one of those!

We spent the day at the stunning Bay Harbor Yacht Club, where they said their vows right at the water’s edge with the most gorgeous backdrop northern Michigan could offer.

From the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the pure joy on the dock after “I do,” every second of this day was nothing short of perfection. Payton, you were an absolute vision. Scott, that smile when you saw her? We caught it, and it’s everything.

Jennifer + Zack at Franklin Hills Country Club

Throwing it back to one of Michigan’s warm, sunshine-filled weekends—one that couldn’t have been more perfect for celebrating J+Z.

The weekend began at Zana’s for their rehearsal dinner before a stroll through the charming streets of Birmingham, ending the weekend on the beautiful grounds of Franklin Hills Country Club. Every detail felt effortlessly timeless, from Jennifer’s modern, minimalist gown to the lush white florals framing their ceremony around the Chuppah and carrying seamlessly into the reception. Surrounded by elegantly dressed all black black-tie guests and a fresh, refined palette of white, the entire day felt sophisticated, filled with life, and full of love.

It was one of those weddings that stays with you long after the last dance. Somehow it still feels like yesterday, and we’d give anything to relive every beautiful moment.
