The Visitor Information Centre has been welcoming around 150 visitors a day over the past four days, and it doesn’t look like Cape Breton is slowing down anytime soon!

From Baddeck and the Cabot Trail to adventures all across the island, there’s still so much to see, do, eat, shop, and explore. It looks like Baddeck & Cape Breton are still the place to be this September! ❤️🍁

Planning your own Cape Breton adventure? Our Visitor Centre staff are ready to help! Stop in for recommendations, directions, maps, local tips, and everything you need to make the most of your visit.

A love letter to September. 🍂✨

To golden afternoons, cool mornings, and the kind of light that makes everything feel a little softer.

To quiet walks, misty waters, warm cups by the fire, and long days spent noticing the little things.

September at the Inverary is a gentle reminder that there’s beauty in slowing down — in lingering a little longer, breathing a little deeper, and letting the season unfold around you.

Here’s to dreamy days, changing leaves, and all the magic in between. 🍂✨

Rain in the forecast? Baddeck plans are still ON!

Spend some time exploring the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site (admission is FREE until September 7!), warm up with a coffee and something tasty, browse the shops around town, and finish off the day with a Baddeck ceilidh. 🎻

And if the weather has you wondering what to do next, stop by the Baddeck Visitor Information Centre. We’re always happy to help you find something to see or do, rain or shine!

It’s pretty easy to fall for a stay like this. 😉

Between the gardens, sunny patio, peaceful grounds and The Lookout Restaurant right on site, Auberge Gisele’s Inn makes settling into Baddeck pretty easy.

When you’re ready to explore, you’re only about a two-minute walk from Baddeck’s main street.

Not sure what to do next? Their reception display keeps guests in the loop on local events and things to do around Cape Breton.

Then again… those red Adirondack chairs might convince you to stay put a little longer. ☀️ taken in Auberge Giseles Inn by @visitbaddeckandarea

Turns out, boats are a little high-maintenance ⚓

Luckily, Baddeck Marine knows what to do about it.

From haul-outs and repairs to maintenance, restoration, storage, moorings, wharfage and the marine store, there’s a whole lot happening beyond the docks.

Basically, if your boat has a to-do list… this is probably where it wants to go.

Paddle all day, stay a little longer. 🛶🌲

There’s more to North River Kayak than getting out on the water. Head out for a kayaking adventure, take in the scenery, then settle into one of their cozy cabins tucked away in the trees.

Kayaks, waterfront views, cabins, campfires… and apparently the occasional rainbow. 🌈
