New public art in Meadow Village! 🤗

ZAK ZAKOVI, ZAKLAND, 2012

This botanically inspired panel was acquired in 2026 from Zakovi’s estate. Like many of his works, Zakland invites viewers to interact with its cutouts and moving parts.

You can find the piece in Meadow Village, right near the Post Office and Michaelangelo’s.

We’re honored to add Zakland to the collection as we continue expanding our public art program into Meadow Village.

It's officially fall in Big Sky. 🍂 And if you've got 48 hours, here's how we'd spend them.

Day 1️⃣: Start with coffee and a fall hike, spend the afternoon fly fishing, horseback riding, or exploring the backcountry on side-by-sides, then wrap up the day with dinner in town.

Day 2️⃣: Slow things down with a walk to Ousel Falls, browse the local shops and galleries, and leave a little room for one more adventure, think a scenic drive along Taylor Fork or a few hours exploring Yellowstone.

➡️ Fall days are getting shorter and seasonal hours are changing, so pack plenty of layers, check availability, and plan ahead.

Summers are hard to beat in Big Sky, but there’s something special about September and the changing of the seasons.

As we head into the final days of summer, there’s a crispness in the air. The aspens are slowly starting to change, wildlife is on the move, and there are little signs everywhere that another season is just around the corner.
