The Broome Visitor Centre will be open this Saturday 10th October from 10am - 2pm. From then, we transition to our tropical season hours of weekdays 9am - 3.30pm.

Wunambal Gaambera Aboriginal Corporation advise the following.
🔹Mitchell River National Park, Ngauwudu (Mitchell Plateau) is closed for the season as of Monday 4th October.
🔹Munurru (King Edward River Campground) is closed for the 2026 season.
🔹Punamii Uunpuu (Mitchell Falls) Campground near Mertens is closed for the 2026 season.

The park and its campgrounds are expected to remain closed through the wet season and reopen in April/May 2027, depending on local weather, flooding, and road conditions.
