Zin in kerstmagie? 🎄🎅🏼

België verandert in december in één groot winterwonderland vol knusse kerstmarkten.

Rozenhoedkaai (Rosary Quay) in Bruges it’s the most photographed spot in the entire city. The iconic view with medieval guild houses, the Belfry of Bruges towering in the background, and canals reflecting the buildings has been featured on countless postcards and travel guides. Interestingly, the quay’s name comes from the rosary (rozenkrans) beads that merchants once sold there centuries ago.

The 83-meter-tall medieval bell tower isn’t perfectly straight. Over the centuries the ground settled unevenly, giving it a slight tilt. If you climb the 366 steps to the top, you can actually feel how the staircase winds through the leaning structure, and the view over Bruges’ canals and red rooftops is spectacular.

Travel Tip: Start your day early at Bruges’ Markt Square. In the quiet of the morning, you’ll have the cobblestones, stunning medieval facades, and golden skies almost to yourself — the perfect way to see the city before the crowds arrive taken in Main Market Square Brugge by @visitbrugge

Brugge - Belgium 📍
