Last week we got to celebrate 5 years of Ensemble with our event “CINQ SENS”!

We are so thankful for each and everyone of our guests throughout our 5 years! We could have not achieved this without you!

If you weren’t able to make it, its ok. We plan on celebrating many more anniversaries. 😜

We can’t wait to keep hosting you and bringing the best to the table for many more years to come.

Imagine this: it’s 6:30pm on a Friday night, and you get a random text from a friend that she has an extra ticket to a culinary speakeasy. 🤫

she sends you @visitensemble ‘s instagram page, and you see incredible food plates to perfection, paired wine selections a stunning kitchen and home all over the page.

“do you want to come? dinner starts at 7:45.”

you then proceed to take the fastest shower, get ready in one of your quickest turnarounds from getting out of traffic, and drive ten minutes up the road to the address she sends you.

“here’s the code. they’ll greet you at the door!”

the home is stunning, with a custom designed kitchen, pieces flown in from around the world, art is hanging around you, and music is flowing from every direction.

a glass of wine is immediately placed in your hand.

you hug your friend, say hello to the 5 other strangers at the table, and sitting in front of you is the interior designer of the house.

she’s equally as interesting as the designs she picked out for the space, and immediately you become fast friends.

next to them is the owner a renowned restaurant in the montrose area, a boutique artist, and a cute couple that found the event randomly earlier that day through word of mouth.

food begins flowing from the kitchen, and the executive chef @jan_pappas introduces himself to us and his home.

he tells stories in between each course on why the meal was selected, how it’s made, and the pairing of the wine.

everyone is sharing stories, getting to know one another, and three hours later you’re shocked that times has flown so quickly.

this was my experience with The Chef’s House, and i am so grateful to have been randomly invited to the best dining experience i have had in my life.

Jan, Jess, and their team put so much love into the experience and it was felt (and consumed!)

Happy SIX to us! 🥂

If you would have told us when we launched (in the middle of the pandemic BTW) that we would have evolved our concept to be what it is now, we would have never believed you.

From Pop-up, to the blue house on Telephone, to the Chef’s House, we could have never done this without you.

Thank you for believing in our dream! Serving you, hosting you and meeting you is what keeps us going.

And if you still haven’t made it to Ensemble after six years - what the hell are you waiting for?! We have a seat with your name on it.

What started as an idea around a table has become six years of food, late nights, new friendships, familiar faces, and moments we never could have planned.
