Shaped by the landscape around it, The Wave rises along Vejle’s waterfront like a frozen movement of the sea. Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, its five undulating buildings echo the hills and water of the Danish coast, turning architecture into a dialogue with nature. 🌊🏙️✨

It's been over a month since James Turnell's As Seen Below Skyspace opened at the Aros museum in Aarhus, bringing a new, one-of-a-kind architectural space to Denmark's second city.

The artist chose Aarhus as the location of his 100th Skyspace - an architectural space with an opening to the sky.

Opening of the space also marks the end of more than a decade-long project The Next Level, including underground dome and an outdoor space above it, as part of @arosartmuseum.

You can visit As Seen Below at any time during your time at the museum, or choose one of the special experiences of the new space: "Twilight" at sunrise and sunset, or "Colour Shift" every hour during the regular opening hours.

Standing beneath the walls of Kolding Castle, every stone tells a story of kings, battles, and centuries of Danish history. A timeless landmark where the past continues to inspire. 🏰✨

Ai piedi delle mura del Castello di Kolding, ogni pietra racconta storie di re, battaglie e secoli di storia danese. Un luogo senza tempo dove il passato continua a ispirare. 🏰✨

Nature has created its own art exhibition! 🖌️

One of the most popular beaches in Aarhus, Den Permanente, is completely covered in ice. People are lining up to enter this winter wonderland and experience its unique beauty.

This year's Danish winter has certainly ticked all the boxes:
✅ Snow
✅ Wind
✅ Ice
✅ Northern lights

And we still have the whole February ahead of us!

Every year on December 13, Denmark celebrates Santa Lucia's Day with candlelit (or Christmas light–lit) parades on land and sea, accompanied by the singing of the traditional song. 🕯️

Autumn in Denmark is colourful, cozy, and oftentimes less rainy than one would think 😉

It's the time to slow down, unwind, enjoy the changes in nature 😌🍂

Hope you've had a spooky Halloween weekend, full of pumpkin dishes, horror movies, and trick-or-treating (or just treating!) 👻

The photos were taken at @plukselv_aarhus, where every autumn you can pick your own pumpkin straight from the field 🎃

Before the autumn leaves fall and darkness sets in, let’s admire Denmark in all its colours. 🍂

The building above is a must-see if you’re in Aarhus in autumn. And it's right by Bruuns Galleri!

Skagen 🇩🇰 — Let’s talk about why we came to the very tip of Denmark: to see the two seas crash into each other at Grenen. You walk (or get driven) all the way to the end of the beach, where the Skagerrak and Kattegat meet — and the waves actually clash. It’s kind of surreal. 🌊 Oh, and keep an eye out for seals! 🦭

On the way back to Skagen, we stopped by the lighthouse Det Grå Fyr! With its 46 meters, it’s the second tallest lighthouse in Denmark. And even though we had plans to see Råbjerg Mile, the giant moving dune nearby, we decided to skip it this time. The weather was brutal — wind, sideways rain, the works. 🌧️🥲🌬️🍃 A reason to come back? 👀

Ps. That black backpack you see? That’s the @frenkygoesto — flies for free, fits under the seat, and somehow fits outfits for nearly a week. Mark’s been using it as a daypack too, and it actually looks good doing it (gifted). 🎒✨
