Best NSW Wine, renowned gardens and now… a view from above 🚁🍷

It’s been a big season for @debortoli_bilbul with the 2022 DEEN Vat 5 Botrytis Semillon recently named Best NSW Wine and Best Sweet Wine at the 2026 Sydney Royal Wine Show.

And there’s another reason to make a trip to the cellar door this spring.

With the renowned 14-acre Emeri’s Garden in bloom, for the first time you can take it all in from above, with 10-minute helicopter joy flights over the garden and Binya Hills on Sunday 4 October.

It's that time of year again. Only two weeks to go until there's some Xtreme bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, campdrafting and so much more down at the Marrar Campdraft Grounds.

Eight pubs. Forty-eight hours. Two vintage diesel locos and 250 people who wanted to see the Riverina the way it was meant to be seen — from the window of a train, with a beer in hand.

We spent two days on The Pub Train, rolling through Junee, Temora, Ariah Park, Ardlethan, Griffith, Yanco, Grong Grong and Marrar. Every stop, a pub. Every pub, a town that has fought to keep its doors open.

What we found wasn't a party. It was a reminder. These bars are the last rooms in town where everyone still shows up. We met Dasher, who has more Riverina in him than most of us will ever have in a lifetime. We met Colleen. And we travelled with a bloke who was quietly making his way home, one stop at a time.

This is the biggest thing we've ever attempted, and it's out now on YouTube. Free, as always. No paid media behind it — just us, a camera and the people who welcomed us in.

If you get something out of it, do us one favour. Watch it, then send it to someone. A mate who grew up out that way. Your old man. The bloke who still drinks at your local. That's how this thing has grown from day one, and it's the only way it keeps going.

Because when the pub closes, the town dies.
