From baskets overflowing with fresh, locally grown produce to friendly conversations with our farmers and neighbors, there’s something so special about a farmers market morning in our charming little town. 🧺🌻

Take note 📝 THIS SATURDAY, October 17, marks the FINAL Sutter Creek Farmers Market of 2026! 🥹🍁
Before we say farewell until next year, we invite you to join us for one last lovely morning of shopping local, supporting our hardworking Amador County farmers and filling your baskets with the goodness of the season.

This weekend, we invite you to join us for the annual Art in Amador Show, a wonderful celebration of creativity featuring 25 talented artists and an incredible collection of one-of-a-kind treasures! 🖼️🤎

From beautiful watercolors and oil paintings to handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, photography and more, there’s something special waiting to be discovered around every corner.

The Adventures of Digby the Miner Mole | Episode 1: A Classic Day in Sutter Creek! 🚗✨

On a cool, crisp autumn morning, a certain little mole decided it was the perfect day for an adventure… 🍁
With a wiggle of his nose and a spring in his step, Digby ventured out of his cozy little home and onto the charming streets of Sutter Creek!

But something was different this morning… 👀
The streets were bustling, engines were rumbling and beautiful classic cars were rolling into town for the 19th Annual Sutter Creek Car Show! 🚘

Naturally, Digby had to take a closer look! Between admiring shiny automobiles, dodging footsteps (it’s not easy being a little mole in a busy town!) and dreaming of his very own classic car, he came to one very important realization…

💰 He might need to dig up a little more gold before taking one of those beauties home! 😂

So off he scurried toward North Main Street, where the sounds of live music filled the autumn air. 🎶🍂

And just like that, Digby’s first little adventure was one for the storybooks.

Well, well, well…look who’s popped up in Sutter Creek! 🐾🍄🌿✨ There’s a new little fellow in town and rumor has it he’s quite the curious character!

Meet Digby, Sutter Creek’s very own little miner mole and official town mascot! ⛏️

Small in stature, big on charm and always ready for a little adventure, Digby has made it his mission to explore every nook, cranny and charming corner of our historic Gold Rush town!

Lovingly brought to life by the talented hands of local artist Lynn Vasquez, Digby is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted needle-felted creature with a great big personality! His equally whimsical little friends can be found at Artfully Rooted, right here in Sutter Creek. 🧶🍄

And while Digby may be a mole, he has no plans to stay underground! 😉 Throughout the seasons, he’ll be popping up around town, making new friends, discovering hidden treasures, joining in on local festivities and sharing a little Sutter Creek magic along the way. 🍂🎩✨

In fact…our curious little explorer has already been on his very first adventure this past weekend! Stay tuned TOMORROW MORNING as we share Digby’s very first outing! We have a feeling this is the beginning of a rather delightful tale. 📖💌

Classic cars and a charming little town? Count us in! 🚘✨ What a beautiful day in California Gold Country as we welcomed visitors and car enthusiasts to historic Main Street for Sutter Creek’s 19th Annual Car Show! 🏁

From polished chrome and vintage wheels to our picturesque storefronts and small-town hospitality, it was a day filled with timeless classics! What a show!

Fall has settled into Main Street and Sutter Creek is officially dressed for the season. 🍂🎃✨ Pumpkins on the sidewalks (and can we just say how beautiful they are…thank you @dogtownpumpkins), scarecrows around town, crisp little storefront moments and plenty of reasons to slow down and make a day of it.

Start with the Sutter Creek Scarecrow Contest! Pick up a ballot at the Visitor Center, stroll Main Street and vote for your favorite. Bring a friend, grab a coffee or tea, stop for lunch and turn it into the sweetest little fall walk. Bonus: you’ll definitely get your steps in. 😉

This weekend, join us for the Sutter Creek Car Show with vintage cars, live music, food, drinks and a Main Street full of energy.

While you’re here, browse the shops, find a cozy fall outfit, enjoy a seasonal meal or spend the afternoon wine tasting.

And there’s still more October magic ahead… Wine Walk on October 17 (get your tickets at the Visitor Center or at Music Box Company) and the Witches Walk returns October 24. 🧙‍♀️🖤

Fall has arrived in Sutter Creek and we couldn’t be more excited. 🤎

Pumpkins are appearing along Main Street, scarecrows are settling into town, harvest season is underway and our little corner of Gold Country is beginning to look especially lovely dressed for autumn.

October is one of our favorite months to wander Sutter Creek, when an afternoon can look like window shopping along historic Main Street, stopping for something delicious, sipping Amador County wine and finding a little fall around every corner.

Broomsticks down, glasses up. 🧹🥂✨ The witches are making their way to Main Street for one of Sutter Creek’s most delightfully spirited October traditions.

Join us Saturday, October 24 from 3–7 PM for the 3rd Annual Sutter Creek Witches Walk, an afternoon of live music, a performance by the Witches of West Point, a costume contest for adults, children and dogs, local vendors and plenty of autumn mischief tucked throughout town.

And for the grown-up witches, the Boozy Witch Pub Crawl is calling. 🍷🔮 Sip your way through Simply Bubbles @simplybubblessuttercreek , The Copper Room @hotelsutter , Cavana’s @cavanaspub , and The Element @element_suttercreek for a positively bewitching little stroll along Main Street.

The Witches Walk itself is free for all ages and Pub Crawl tickets are $50.
