Save this list of recommendations on what to pack for the Turks and Caicos Islands. 🧳

If you happen to forget something basic, you’ll probably be able to find a suitable replacement on Providenciales.

Depending on what you’re looking for, the selection on the other islands in the country can be far more limited.

Be sure to check out our page on Passports and Visas before departure. United States, United Kingdom, and Canadian visitors can travel with a passport that is valid for the duration of their stay, while other nationalities must have a passport that is valid for at least six months at the time of their visit. Some countries require a visa to visit.

It’s kiting season in TCI, and Long Bay Beach is one of the best places in the world to go kiteboarding. Shallow and crystal-clear turquoise water, glittering white sand, and miles of kiteable coastline — perfect if you’re learning to kiteboard for the first time or are a seasoned pro.

There’s even a water sports-focused resort on the beach with its own kite academy.

Inside the Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos 🔦

The Conch Bar Caves are the largest dry cave system in the Bahamas–Turks and Caicos island chain (and are a Turks and Caicos national park!).

On a guided tour, you can explore the system's stalactites, stalagmites, and columns and walk past still pools that fluctuate with the ocean tide. You'll also see the many bats that call the caves home. 🦇
