I’ve always been told how proud I should feel to be American because of the alleged freedom and opportunities other countries don’t have. This project is an exploration of the surrealism of American pride

“Eve”
a piece from Taboo

That concludes this series for now! Thank you so so so much for the love and support!!! I got to learn so much about myself through this project— it fills me up with so much joy and purpose to be able to express my ideas through photography, and to also have an audience who gets the vision???? Y’all frickin rock!!!

Revisiting this 2 years later! The 2nd slide was done in my bedroom during senior year of high school— I’d just discovered Photoshop and I still had no clue what any of my camera settings meant.
I guess art school isn’t pointless after all 🙈

There was never a dull moment with this interesting crew 😭 I had so so much fun and I can’t wait to work with these guys again!!!

Make sure to check it out when it releases!
