Love Literally Changes Your Body, Science Says.

Love isn’t just a feeling—it has real, measurable effects on your body. When you’re around someone you deeply trust, your brain releases oxytocin, the "bonding hormone" that promotes calm, reduces stress, and triggers a sense of safety. This sense of security can shift your body into a "rest-and-digest" mode, slowing your heart rate, relaxing your muscles, and even making you feel drowsy.

Studies also show that couples in close, emotionally secure relationships tend to synchronize their sleep patterns, and in some cases, their heart rates align too. It’s not just poetic—it’s biological. Love doesn’t just make you feel peaceful; it actually helps shape how your body rests and heals.

Study: Men Who’ve Never Had a Girlfriend Are More Likely to End Up with a Beautiful Wife! 😳💍

A study published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin found that men who have never been in a romantic relationship are often seen as more trustworthy, loyal, and serious about commitment—qualities many women look for in a long-term partner.

Interestingly, the research showed that women tend to value “never-dated” men more than those with multiple exes. To them, these guys appear more genuine and exclusive.

So, if you’ve never had a girlfriend—don’t worry. You might actually be the hidden gem everyone’s looking for. 😉

When Will You Meet Your True Love? Mathematician Explains the Science Behind Finding the Right Partner ❤️

According to a theory popularized by British mathematician Dr. Hannah Fry, your late 20s to early 30s could be an important period for finding a compatible life partner. The idea is linked to the optimal stopping theory, a mathematical concept suggesting that people can make better choices after gaining enough experience to recognize what truly matters to them.

One version of this theory suggests that people should spend roughly the first 37% of their available dating period exploring their options before seriously considering a long-term commitment. During their early 20s, many people are still discovering their identities, learning from past relationships, and figuring out what they need from a partner.

By their late 20s and early 30s, people may have developed greater emotional maturity and a clearer understanding of their relationship priorities. Past experiences can help them recognize compatibility, establish healthier boundaries, and make more informed decisions about the person they want to build a future with.

However, this theory does not mean everyone will meet their soulmate between the ages of 27 and 35. Optimal stopping theory is a mathematical model, not a scientifically established prediction of when people will find true love. The outcome depends on individual circumstances, personal growth, opportunities, and the quality of each relationship.

Ultimately, love has no universal timeline. Some people find their life partner early, while others discover meaningful relationships later in life. What matters most is not how old you are when you meet someone, but whether you are ready to build a healthy, lasting relationship together.

Indonesia Ranks Among the World's Most Prayerful Nations, With 95% Reporting Daily Prayer 🙏🌏

A study cited by Pew Research Center reportedly found that 95% of Indonesians consider prayer an important part of their lives, highlighting the country's strong religious culture and the significant role faith plays in everyday life.

The findings have also sparked discussions about the relationship between religious belief and critical thinking. Sociologists emphasize that strong religious values can coexist with rational decision-making, evidence-based reasoning, and the ability to evaluate information objectively.

Faith can provide comfort, hope, and moral guidance, while critical thinking helps people navigate complex situations, distinguish facts from misinformation, and make informed decisions.

Ultimately, faith and logical reasoning do not have to be opposing forces. Both can play important roles in shaping a thoughtful, responsible, and well-informed society.

Research on partner preferences suggests that the qualities people look for can vary depending on the type and context of a relationship.

What catches your attention at first isn’t always what matters most when you start thinking about a serious, long-term relationship. Physical attraction and excitement may play a bigger role in the beginning, while qualities like honesty, intelligence, personality, emotional warmth, and compatibility tend to become more important when choosing someone to build a future with.

So, if we put it simply:

Crush — catches your attention 👀
Ex — has a story to tell 💔
Wife — someone you can build a future with 🤍

A crush might be about the spark.
An ex might be about the memories and the story you once shared.
But a wife is someone you see as a long-term partner, someone whose values, personality, and compatibility can fit into the life you want to build.

Different roles, different reasons.

But the real question is: which one matches your type? 👀

HDD Pipeline Project Leak Sends Mud Into Residents’ Homes in Bekasi.

Residents of Telagamurni and Kalijaya, Cikarang Barat, Bekasi, were alarmed after a leak occurred during a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) project for a @pertaminagas gas pipeline on Wednesday (September 9, 2026), around 04:00 WIB until now

Drilling mud reportedly seeped out gradually, flooding yards, entering at least a dozen homes, and disrupting access to local roads. Residents emphasized that the material was drilling mud, not a gas leak.

Local resident Fery (44) said the project had reportedly entered the fullback stage, meaning the drilling was operating under significant pressure. Residents are also concerned about possible impacts on nearby well water and are calling for comprehensive testing, potentially involving an independent party.

The incident has also raised concerns over compensation and project safety, with tensions reportedly occurring between residents and project personnel.

Residents are urging Pertamina and the project contractor to immediately clean and restore affected homes and roads, check water quality, clarify compensation, and ensure the safety of HDD operations in the densely populated area.

The Indonesia National Adolescent Mental Health Survey (I-NAMHS) revealed that around 2.45 million adolescents in Indonesia experienced mental health disorders within the past 12 months. The figure is equivalent to roughly 1 in 20 teenagers aged 10–17 years old.

The research was conducted through a collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada, the University of Queensland in Australia, and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the United States.

According to the findings, anxiety disorders were the most commonly reported mental health condition among Indonesian adolescents. Researchers also identified cases of major depression, behavioral disorders, PTSD, and ADHD.

The survey highlights that adolescent mental health is no longer a minor issue. Many psychological conditions in teenagers are often dismissed as being “lazy,” “moody,” or “too addicted to gadgets,” when in reality they may reflect serious emotional distress that requires proper attention and support.

Researchers emphasized that family support, healthy social environments, and access to mental health services are critical factors in helping teenagers cope with emotional pressure during their developmental years.

A 2025 survey by YouGov reveals an interesting pattern among Gen Z in Indonesia: when forced to cut spending, many would rather reduce essential expenses than change their lifestyle.

The data shows that 6% of respondents chose to cut food spending, while 7% reduced health-related expenses—both relatively low compared to lifestyle categories that remain largely untouched. Spending on beauty, fashion, and dining out continues to be prioritized, reflecting how lifestyle and self-expression play a central role in Gen Z’s identity.

This trend highlights a shift in financial behavior, where consumption is not just about needs, but also about social presence, personal branding, and emotional satisfaction. For many Gen Z individuals, maintaining a certain lifestyle is seen as equally—if not more—important than cutting back on daily essentials.

However, the findings also raise concerns about long-term financial and health trade-offs, as prioritizing lifestyle over basic needs could impact both well-being and financial stability over time.

A number of studies suggest that many men tend to apologize during conflicts—even when they believe they are right. This behavior is not always about giving in, but rather about de-escalating tension and restoring harmony more quickly.

Research from the American Psychological Association and the Gottman Institute indicates that men often experience higher physiological stress during arguments, including increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and heightened emotional arousal. These physical responses can make conflicts feel more overwhelming, prompting men to seek faster resolution.

According to findings from the John Gottman, a psychologist known for his work on relationships, men are also more prone to emotional flooding during disagreements. This occurs when stress levels rise to a point where it becomes difficult to think clearly or communicate effectively, leading many to choose apologizing or stepping back as a way to stabilize the situation.

Interestingly, this behavior is not necessarily a sign of weakness. Instead, it can reflect a protective response—an effort to safeguard the relationship and prevent prolonged conflict. For many men, apologizing becomes a practical way to preserve emotional stability and maintain connection, rather than prolonging tension.

In this context, saying “sorry” isn’t always about being wrong—it can also be about valuing the relationship more than winning the argument.
