Finally after years of wanting to visit, I got the chance to check out The Old Man of Storr while up on the Isle of Skye shooting for a client. Conditions were crazy, with sideways rains and winds that burn your eardrums. Absolutely no way the Mavic 4 was taking off. Clarkson said “car people have this unshakable belief that cars are living entities, you can develop a relationship with a car”, and after a year and a half of ownership and my second long road trip this year I couldn’t agree more.1584 miles up to the Isle of Skye and around the Highlands, soaking up every ounce of the breathtaking surroundings with me. Didn’t skip a beat and glued to the roads. In the dead of night our last 2hr 40min of driving up to Skye, cut down to just 2 hours, soaking up the winding roads.Yeah, Clarkson was right. Another one of them jobs that remind me how blessed I am to be doing what I do. An incredible couple of days shooting for @hikmicrohunting.global following @skyegamekeeper & @thegamekeepers_daughter around the Isle of Skye stalking and monitoring deer populations. Incredible to see Stags in the wild and super interesting to learn more about wild deer, their importance to the land they live in and the relationship people have with them.
