POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“Martyrdom”

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the idea of martyrdom—its profound sacrifices and enduring legacy. This concept has sparked new perspectives in my art. I dedicate this post to martyrs everywhere, embodying the truth that “Martyrdom does not end something; it is only a beginning.”

Thanks my cousin @izer.wav, for your support and collaboration in shaping this vision. by @visuals_by.tee

Sunday service 🕊️

For a long time, I’ve been drawn to capturing the beauty within my family’s church. While I don’t consider myself particularly religious, my roots in a Primitive Baptist family have deeply influenced my perspective. My heritage and the wisdom of my elders have always been important to me, shaping both my identity and my artistic vision. Through this series, I aim to honor these connections and the profound impact they have had on my life, starting with my grandmother, Clara.

Our lady of sorrows

“ I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in those anxieties which tried thy troubled heart at the loss of thy dear Jesus. Dear Mother, by thy heart so full of anguish, obtain for me the virtue of chastity and the gift of knowledge”
