New reel. Finally. 🎬

The reel is the one job every DOP keeps pushing to "next month." I'm always guilty of it for way too long but here it is, freshly updated.

A look at the frames, the light, and the stories I've been chasing lately. Tell me what stands out to you.

Humbled and grateful 🙏 my debut commercial as a director has just been awarded Best TV Advert of the Year at the National Exceptional Marketing Awards (NEMA) by the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe, the biggest marketing awards in Zim.

This journey came with many lessons about storytelling, teamwork, and leadership and I’ll carry them into every project ahead.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the whole crew who showed up and got things done.

Forever grateful, and excited for what’s to come.

Some grabs from a recent interview setup 🎬

The room was tight and pretty flat… so I had to work with what was there and shape it into something cinematic.

Shot on the @sonyalphasa FX3 & FX30,
lit with @nanliteusa

Thought I’d share a bit of the process behind the look.
For the cinematographers here — how do you bring depth into a flat space?

I almost didn’t post this. Overthinking has kept 5+ trips locked away… unfinished, unseen. (Full Vlog link in Bio)

This time I chose flow over perfection.Chimanimani didn’t happen, Vumba did and we had the best time welcoming the new year.

Here’s to imperfect plans, real moments, and finally pressing upload.

Happy New Year ✨🌍

🎬 My Way Music Video Out Now!
Here are some snippets from my favorite scenes
Full video link in bio

Directed by @blumordecai
Creative Directed, D.O.P & Color by me
Featuring @KimMakumbe, @abx_nuttyo and ‪@onesimusmuzik

This project means a lot to me not just because of the music, but because I finally got to collaborate with one of my favorite directors, Blu Mordecai. His humility, creativity, and raw authenticity are something I’ve always admired.

Working on My Way pushed me to balance roles creative direction, DOP, and color grading while helping bring the director’s vision to life.

Grateful to the amazing team at Monzyice Creations for the magic we continue to create together.

This one’s for collaboration, growth, and storytelling — frame by frame.
