Over a year ago, we set out to tell a story about the things men carry, the things left unsaid, and the battles that often happen in silence.

Color grading doesn’t have to be complicated. 🎨

Two simple steps:
1️⃣ Convert your S-Log to Rec.709
2️⃣ Add your personal look.

That’s it.

Unless you’re working on a high-end commercial or feature film, don’t overcomplicate the process. Your goal is to create an image that looks good and, most importantly, looks good to your client.

Keep it simple. Get the look. Deliver. 🎬

🎥 VIDEOGRAPHER HACK: SHOOT 60FPS!

When you’re in a run-and-go situation, you don’t always have time to plan every shot. Shooting 60fps gives you flexibility — you can slow your footage down to 25fps in post and create smooth slow motion when needed.

If you have the time and control, shoot 24/25fps for that natural cinematic motion.

But when things are moving fast? 60fps gives you options. 🔥

No matter what look you’re going for, if your white balance is off, your grade will fight you in post.

Get it right in-camera, and give yourself a clean starting point for the grade. 🎨

1. SOLVE PROBLEMS.
Clients aren’t just paying for your camera skills. They’re paying you to find solutions.

2. PRICE PROPERLY.
Know your value. Understand the project. Charge accordingly.

Being good at the craft is one thing. Knowing how to turn your craft into a business is another.
