From developing negatives in a darkroom to capturing moments on smartphones, photography has come a long way. Yet, the charm, patience and craft of analogue photography continue to hold a special place.

In these photographs, fine art photographer @charles_makhal works at his darkroom in Hyderabad, keeping alive a traditional and slowly disappearing art form.

Wishing everyone a Happy World Photography Day!
