I was gathering tracks to send them today and decided to listen to some I’d made four years ago. Sure, they still need mixing, but I laughed for ages. There’s a sample in there from a meme about the Chelyabinsk region governor from back when the Chebarkul meteorite fell. At the time, the governor claimed the meteorite was made of «hard gas»—that its structure wasn’t metallic but icy—gas ice, or whatever you’d call it—an interplanetary body. #memes #track #psy #techno by @vitali.beat

Yo! This year, I wanted to do a mix of my tracks and two collaborations with K.A.T.A. and Alex Leon. The mix wasn’t recorded right away, of course, but let’s publish what I have. I had to mix it using a trackpad and hotkeys in Traktor. Of course, I won’t stop with this setup and might mix it in other programs later – maybe even directly from Ableton. Link to Mixcloud in my bio.

I can also share the track list. Enjoy listening: 1. Disaccharide - Unknown birds 164 bpm [DJUKOTRANCE];

Last year, I wanted to make an album.
I lacked experience, skills, time, and patience. This time, everything happened spontaneously. I had finished tracks, and I didn’t like how they sounded. I even posted «Frr-Fr» and «External Hall» on SoundCloud. I posted three live recordings on Instagram: «DRT,» «Knee Release,» and «Dance Of Earthworms.» I also posted videos of «TP» on Instagram, as well as screen recordings of «Tech Base» and «Untitledrone.» So, besides collecting the tracks I made this year that I like, and besides realizing I didn’t like how they sounded, I had to add a new track, «Kick Pot,» which I didn’t like either. I also had a big problem: when I recorded the video and played the live session of track «DRT» earlier this year, I didn’t record the audio for it, and I didn’t record all automations in arrangement. I thought that I could quickly make a track from a live recording in a day, but I was very wrong. I had to replay and record it, and then adjust the arrangement. The DRT arrangement took three days to get right, although I quickly achieved a sound I liked. You could say the DRT track is also new, as it was previously a live recording simply recorded with an iPhone camera. Before I decided to make an album, all the tracks sounded bad on studio monitors. I had to spend a whole week at the monitors to achieve an acceptable result. The mixes weren’t good enough for me either, so to make sure, I simply turned the chain on and off on the master… by @vitali.beat
