Winning the overall Women’s Champion title for Pauh 14km in my hometown Cameron Highlands means the world to me. Still stoked with my timing 1 hour 52min!This year was stacked with elite runners, and after last year’s disappointment, I promised myself I’d come back stronger — not just to win my first year Veteran category, but to aim for the overall title in 2026. And I did it! 🥳I kept things steady and followed the game plan — reached CP3 Sungai Pauh in 30 minutes and even had the chance to run alongside elite runner @allison_phuise before we parted ways at Berembun.💜Berembun was brutal: mud, slips, steep climbs, dangerous descents. I fell hard, tore my knees and hands, bled through the dirt, and cramped badly I couldn’t stand. One runner helped stretch my legs, another pushed me through the last stretch — I’ll never forget your kindness. Thank you to everyone who gave way.Training with intention made all the difference: slacklining with Coach Ricey for balance and mindset, following Coach BJ’s running plan from afar, and grinding through Perth’s freezing 5°C mornings. Every detail mattered.Crossing the finish line without my parents or any family there felt strange — Appa usually follows my whole route, and Amma @nachammal190759 waits at the Padang to cheer and record. Not seeing them hit me harder than I expected. But the cheers from runners, supporters, and @ultramankannan ’s voice on the PA carried me through that final stretch.Thank you Coach Ricey @steelfitness.perth @perth.trail.series and @runbjrun_ @bjrc_runners @revsthi73 and @ssathya01 for everything.Lovely to see @beechoclover and kak @hazhana36! #ThrowbackTrailRun @perth.trail.series Chitty Chitty Run Run back in Feb — the final Summer Series weekend and honestly one of the most fun, chaotic, glow‑in‑the‑dark experiences I’ve done.Saturday night run, camping with the Woohoo Crew, waking up to coffee and brekkie trucks, then straight into another run on Sunday. Chittering really said: “here are some hills, good luck” hehe.Camping made the whole weekend even better. @steelfitness.perth and I even went for a late walk to catch the stars — the sky was unreal with the moon out.Glow medal, live music, food trucks, and that classic PTS energy that makes you forget your legs are dying.
