A seriously long overdue post as I became to busy and took way longer time to process but finally I got the time.

Mid last year, me and a couple of my friends had a common frustration: why's it so difficult to have a breakthrough in the entertainment industry? So many walls to break, so many people we cannot reach. There was a small talk of putting on our own production out of spite, but my goodness we pushed through that thought with audacity and sheer grit. It was in this moment that I stepped foot into the role of co-director and co-writer for the first time.

A grueling process that took me to my limits and more, felt like I was stretched like a taffy, as if to see how far I can go until I snap. Being a performer is one thing, being behind the scenes is an entirely different beast. As immensely heavy the process was, I am not willing to let go of the first ever production of this community to someone else. The ego was talking but I wanted to push myself through. I ache for the painful growth I experienced in IMB. In the end, we did it. We created our own demand. Two soldout shows, with a huge audience reach, where half of them never seen a theatre play before.

There aren't enough thank you's from me that I can give to these people that are willing to go through the process for this production. So many mistakes and mishaps happened throughout the process and I am very sorry for that. It was embarrassing to remember, but we got through it. Thank you for being patient and giving it your all in the circumstance. It made me need to give my all as well. And you know what, it makes me want to do more.

12-13 December 2025 was the first production was held under @ketemu.di.seni and I will assure you there will be more ✊️ by @vitoprasasta

Salam kenal, aku Vito.

Dengan Kaluna aku sangat kagum.

Dia tidak pernah menyerah mengejar mimpinya. Mungkin aku bukan difase hidup yang mimpinya sama. Bedanya, aku harus terpaksa melepaskan mimpi pertamaku dari aku umur 12 di umur 25. Sudah kukejar itu terus sampai ujung, ternyata situasi dan kondisi mengharuskan aku melepaskannya karena terlalu menyakitkan.

Aku terpaksa mengejar mimpi baru, masih belum sepenuhnya menjejak tanah dengan pilihan itu. Tapi Kaluna masih mengejar mimpinya, walaupun jalannya sesuai dengan harapannya. Mungkin aku bisa juga, walaupun penuh engan hiruk-pikuk hidup. Tetapi, aku bersyukur bahwa aku masih punya energi untuk bergerak.
