SONGEA is growing — and we want you to be part of the journey. 🌍🎶

We’re bringing together the people who make the music scene move.

SONGEA is a Nordic platform for African electronic music & culture, working across record label, artist representation and events. Our aim is to connect artists, DJs, producers, promoters, venues, creatives and music lovers — creating space for deeper sounds, new collaborations and genuine community.

On 23 October, we’re opening the doors for our first SONGEA Meet & Greet in Helsinki.

Come meet the team, discover what we’re building, share ideas, exchange contacts and connect with others in the scene.

Whether you’re an artist, DJ, producer, promoter, venue, creative or simply a music lover, you’re welcome.

No pressure. No formal programme.
Just good music, good people & good conversations.

🌅 Perfect sunset, beautiful music. 🎶

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Piano x House Picnic of the summer yesterday (Wed 29.7.) at our usual spot, Lapinlahti Beach, Helsinki ❤️

Big love to the DJs who kept the energy flowing:
@vits_ke @djgoodblood @djlenoir_ @mk_di_slang @hamm.global

Great music, beautiful people, and memories that will last long after summer.

Many have already been asking when the next one will be — We'll definitely be doing at least one more before the summer comes to an end. Stay tuned! 🌅✨

Picnic x House Picnic is an open air event celebrating the sounds of Amapiano, Deep House & 3-Step.

As much as Afro House runs through my veins, I’ve always had a deep love for Private School Amapiano.

Two years ago, I put together a mini mix dedicated to the sound. This Saturday, I’m taking it a step further with a one-hour video set, featuring some of my favourite Private School Amapiano tracks from the past 3–4 years.

Looking forward to sharing this journey with you 🎹
