Pride is about love.

Love made possible by those who came before us, by those who stand beside us today, and by those who will continue walking with us tomorrow.

Pride is also for the people who witnessed our evolution—from scared, ashamed teenagers to the still-growing, still-healing, but far more confident adults we are becoming.

Pride is for the ones who stood beside us when we came out. For those who already knew, quietly opened the door, laid a hand, and helped us find our way out the closet we were put in.

Pride is for the chosen mothers and fathers who stepped into those roles so naturally and beautifully, filling the spaces where love was missing until it slowly found its way into hearts and minds that had only known hate.

Pride is for the homes that welcomed us, the dinners where an extra seat was waiting, the ears that listened without judgment, and the voices that softly whispered, “I love you exactly as you are.”

On this last day of Pride Month, let this be your reminder: every gesture, every word, every hug matters.

It matters to the child quietly wondering who they are. It matters to the sibling who wishes they were different. It matters to the friend who seems “off,” even if you don’t yet know why.

We needed Pride. We still do. And we always will.

To the six-year-old boy who once prayed the gay away, I want to tell you this:

You were never something to fix.

You are loved. You are worthy. You are enough—exactly as you are.

Be proud. Love deeply. Live fully. And never apologize for being yourself. 🌈 happy pride by @vitto.loco_

Trust anyone who tells you to go to Rio for Carnaval — nothing on earth compares.
Thank you for the energy, the endless parties, the food, the people… everything.
You gave me the fuel for what’s next and the healing I needed to step into this Year of the Horse aligned and grounded.
Now it’s time to go home and build the momentum for the next chapter.

I was asked not too long ago how my year was going.

“Best year of my life.”❤️

Big statement, but I meant it.

And when I started thinking about *why*, it wasn’t the places, the work, the milestones, or any of the things we usually use to measure a good year.

It was my people.

Kicking off my birthday week last Saturday reminded me that there really isn’t much in life that can top being surrounded by people who genuinely show up for you.

Biological family. Chosen family. And the ones who have somehow blurred the line so much that I’m not even sure who belongs in which category 🥰

The people who celebrate you, support you, dance with you, laugh until it hurts, cry when it hurts — and stick around for everything in between.

27 years around the sun, and if there’s one thing I know for sure: this is what rich looks like. 🎂🎉
The kind that matters.

I’ve always struggled with what my role is supposed to be as a brother, an uncle, a son, a friend, and a godfather.❤️

Not knowing whether I’ll ever have kids of my own one day has always felt... strange. It makes you wonder what kind of impact you’ll leave, and where your place really is.🥹

Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of embracing those roles. It’s been scary, challenging, and, more than anything, incredibly rewarding.

Trying to build a business from the ground up, while still enjoying my twenties enough that I don’t look back with regret, all while trying to be the best brother and uncle I can be, has honestly been one of the hardest balancing acts of my life.

For the longest time, I carried this quiet guilt that I wasn’t doing enough. That I wasn’t showing up enough. That somehow I was always behind.

I remember asking my sister one day, “Am I doing enough?”

She smiled and simply said, “You are.”

Love isn’t measured by how often you’re there. It’s measured by how present you are when you are.

I have no idea what the future holds.

But I do know this: if I can help teach them how to love, how to forgive, how to laugh, how to enjoy life, and above all, how to be a good human, then I think I’ve fulfilled one of the most meaningful roles I’ll ever have.
Be present. Love unconditionally. Give people your full attention.
And remember that doing your best will always matter the most . by @vitto.loco_
