I had a short revisit back to the 90s with our Green Day tribute show. 1/2 of the cast were babies 👶🏼. I was 18 and full of hope and no sass! Nostalgic reminiscences of music, hairstyles, hopes & dreams, and military service (!) 🇺🇸 it was fun to share 90s Viva with our audience. So many changes in 30 years! I embrace 2026 with a lot of burlesque, self expression & creativity, and sass to my corner of the world! (I didn’t even know what burlesque was until I attended my first show at the age of 40!) #latebloomer #greendaytribute #smalltownburlesque #womanofacertainage #allsass taken in West River Comedy Club by @viva.edge

The Joy of Burlesque is often the creating & collaborating around a theme. The show theme was “Fresh Outta F**ks”. Do you mean forks? Cuz I got lots of spoons for ya! With the short turnaround, this act turned into a family craft project. Hubby lent me his hand drill for the spoons. One kid searched town for safety pins. The other attached spoons to costume to make fringe. I made posters while listening to my music and envisioning choreography & timing. As it was, I rushed a 3 minute song but regardless was ALL smiles. The crowd got the joke. #smalltownburlesque #freshouttafucks #spoons #noforksgiven #burlesquecostume taken in West River Comedy Club by @viva.edge
