Isaiah 58:11 - “And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”

These three years at Xavier University of Louisiana have been the most ambivalent experience of my life. Through every circumstance and every obstacle, God has continued to guide me to the finish line as a first-generation early graduate, and I could not be more thankful. There were moments that challenged me mentally, emotionally, and academically, but every setback became a reminder that purpose is stronger than fear.

To my friends: thank you for loving me through every version of myself these past three years. Thank you for the laughs, the pep talks, the study sessions, the drives, the prayers, and for never letting me give up on myself when things felt heavy.

To my sorors and sistors of the ΓA Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.: thank you for the sisterhood, guidance, support, and constant reminders to walk in purpose and excellence. It has been an honor growing alongside such powerful women.

To my professors, mentors, and advisors: thank you for your patience, encouragement, grace, and for seeing potential in me even during moments when I struggled to see it in myself. Your investment in me has changed my life forever.

And finally, thank you God — for carrying me when I felt weak, for opening doors I never imagined possible, and for proving that even in uncertainty, your plans are always greater.
