This past Monday, I had the opportunity to support my husband’s company, K Street Financial, at the 4th Annual K Street Classic.

The tournament benefited @ticketsforkids, a nonprofit that provides free access for low-income and at-risk children to attend arts, cultural, educational, and athletic events in their communities.

I also loved getting to spend the day with my girl @vivalageo19, which made an already meaningful day even better❤️

It was a great reminder that community isn’t built by one organization or one person. It’s built by people who choose to invest their time, talents, and resources in making it stronger.

It’s something I admire, something I hope to do more of, and something I believe every business can learn from. Being part of a community means more than doing business there. It means supporting the people, organizations, and causes that help it thrive. by @vivalageo19

This chapter has been so sweet. Nothing like truly believing in yourself, your life, your light, your heart, your spirit, and your mind.

There was a time when I was at war with myself. Second guessing everything. Analyzing every thought, every conversation, every interaction, every single thing I did.

It took time, isolation, honesty, & courage, to say enough. To decide that I no longer was the victim of my life.

Today I stand knowing exactly who I am, who I want to be, how I want my life to feel, how I’d like to leave others feeling, & who I want around me.

The sexiest thing I did was choose myself 🫶🏼✨

Pinch me - full circle moment 🥺🫶🏼✨

I had the honor of attending the Helen Hayes awards to celebrate our beautiful city and the beautiful people that continue to create important art.

Fun fact: the last time I attended the Helen Hayes Awards was in 2019, when my ensemble was nominated for Best Ensemble in a musical for Be More Chill.

Having the opportunity to see SO MANY of my peers winning awards and being honored for their craft was truly priceless. There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, like being in a room full of bold, authentic, passionate, and talented individuals. It was magnetic.

I was especially inspired by the diversity that is DC theater. So many black and brown artist being recognized really filled my heart and soul with joy as our representation matters. Our stories matter. Our voices matter. I was reminded by these artists powerful speeches to never forget that my voice, my skin, and my culture, are worth listening to.

I am so grateful for the opportunities that continue to bless me. Aligning me. Reminding me, that I am exactly where I need to be 🫶🏼✨

Yall know what time it isssssss!!! April dumpie 😘🫶🏼✨

April was filled with time spent with my friends and family. There’s something about the weather changing and nature blooming that reminds me that I too, can reborn.

Everyday I’m striving to become a better person, inside and out. Showing up for those close to me, showing up for myself.

This year I’m in new spaces and places - allowing me to get uncomfortable and to keep growing. Yeah, I think that’s my motto for 2026 - keep growing, keep loving, keep showing up, keep being kind, keep being empathetic, and keep learning about myself, my wants, my needs, & my life.

I hope May blesses us all with more of the things we truly desire. And if you don’t know what that is? Keep looking 🫶🏼✨

Spend the morning with me 🫶🏼✨

Getting up is the hardest part but, once I do that, it’s just a slow morning of pouring into my cup.

Movement, wellness rituals, prioritizing my self care, making my inside reflect the outside; all of these things have truly made me a happier more positive person.

Making sure I’m well taken care of so that I can take care of all the other important things in my life.

I remember a time when my mornings involved walking up late to rush to get to work. Now, my mornings involve doing all the things that make me feel good when I look in the mirror.
