#MamaMondays As a mother of two and a #PostpartumDepression survivor, I can say from experience that when you give all that you have and all that you are to your children, you’re ultimately doing yourself a disservice. And before anybody misunderstands me, let me be clear: Being a devoted mom should never require you to abandon yourself as a woman. Motherhood is demanding AF. Yea It’s beautiful, it’s rewarding, but it can also be mentally, physically, and emotionally EXHAUSTING. And that’s why having an outlet shouldn’t a luxury. I believe it’s a Necessity 💯 Whether it’s dancing, exercising, traveling, creating, spending time with your girlfriends, or just having a moment where nobody needs anything from you, you deserve something that belongs to YOU. Something that reminds you that you are still a woman with desires, interests, dreams, and an identity outside of motherhood. Burnout is REAL. And constantly sacrificing your own well-being won’t get you the “Best Mom Award” Drake already told us ain’t no awards for this lol If your kids should experience the best version of you, shouldn’t you get to as well? 👀 #PourIntoYourCupFirst #VivaLaVeese Make #VivaLaDance Your Outlet.
