“Maybe there is something beautiful in being left behind, yet having the capacity to hope that at least the one who left is finding joy in their own freedom? Sometimes allowing for that autonomy is the best we can do for one another.” ~ Hoff says of the song, full article @undertheradarmag website

Performing next week. Deep love and gratitude to @otionfrontstudio x @fluct_monica @kinlawww for supporting this process, I feel held.
~~~~~
Viva Soudan’s haunting heart fire new performance; Abraham, softly rips into parts of the human core that we all experience but rarely move through. As November’s Otion Front resident, Viva has been quietly moving through grief as a processing terminal, unveiling a version of herself that has been masked through the confusion of dealing with the recent and unexpected death of her brother, Abraham. The swell of this existential door opening communicates something integral to the body, beyond the limitation of the voice and permeated by the absence of both. The performance is a profound dance that speaks in homage and celebration of Abraham’s life as it meshes with Viva’s visceral reality. In a generous and transparent tension of breath as the sign, Viva performs two shows of Abraham on November 29th 2018 at 7:30pm and 8:15pm at Otion Front Studio (1196 Myrtle Ave). Tickets are $15 Venmo @otionfront and indicate preferred time. taken in Otion Front Studio by @vivasoudan
