We first met @viveksurti and @sheela.kii.jawanii @michelinguide ceremony in Greenville last year, when we happened to sit next to each other at breakfast at the hotel. Vivek had just been recognized by Michelin, and we’ve kept in touch ever since. I'm so happy to finally make it to @tailornashville.

Since then, Vivek received a @beardfoundation nomination for Outstanding Hospitality, and after experiencing @tailornashville, I’m not surprised in the slightest. You feel that hospitality the second you walk through the door. You can tell how much they love what they do.

The food is equally special, blending Vivek’s first-generation Indian roots with Southern cooking in a way that feels deeply personal and strikes just the right balance.

Thank you Vivek and team, for such a wonderful evening. I’m so glad we finally got to catch up, and it was awesome getting to meet the talented people who make @tailornashville what it is. Congratulations on everything. See you next month. by @viveksurti

Our Culinary Club got an inside look at what it takes to run an award-winning restaurant! Our boys recently visited MBA Alumnus Vivek Surti (‘03) at @tailornashville, his 2025 Michelin-recommended Nashville restaurant known for its inventive South Indian American cuisine. Vivek gave the boys a special behind-the-scenes tour, sharing the passion and craft that goes into every dish.

I just happened to be at @tailornashville with @viveksurti — fellow @eo.nashville member — working on a project with @styleblueprint and @visitmusiccity when THIS happened!

We were in the front of Tailor, chatting after a long video shoot (more to come … with host @jennavonoy 😍) and in walks the Sysco rep (they are a large sponsor of Michelin) who unceremoniously presents the plaque to hang in the restaurant representing the Michelin recognition award that Tailor recently received!

I mean, pinch me. How did I end up in the right place at the right time?! It was pure JOY all around!!!

Congrats to the whole Tailor team, Vivek, and @visitmusiccity for supporting this huge effort to become a Michelin recognized city!! by @viveksurti

We have officially received our @michelinguide plaque! Earning a Michelin recommendation is an incredible honor and being the first restaurant serving Gujarati cuisine to receive the recognition means more to us than we can put into words.
