Earth Movements: The Spirit of Earth (Yi / Intention) 🌾✨ What is the spirit energy of Earth? In this second Earth video, we revisit the Chinese character for Yi (意) - intention, or the spirit of the Earth element. It is a beautiful synthesis: the open bowl of the heart, topped with poetry, uttered sound, or a musical note. Sound is vibration. When we align with Earth, our intention becomes intimately connected to the heart’s expression. β€œThe spirit energy of Earth has to do with our intention being related to the heart.” - mg πŸŽ₯ Video Design by Archive Creative Director: Bay / Bahia, B3 Design Lab 🌾 Gather with us in practice this September: ~ Free Qi Breathing Online Session: Sept 14 ~ Fire Island Earth Gathering: Sept 18–20 ~ Fall Qigong 10-Week Program & Bundles: Registration open! πŸ”— Tap the link in bio to register for the Fire Island Gathering and explore all Fall Qigong Program offerings! by @vivid.grove

Earth Movements: The Spirit & Character of Yi (意) Two Earth videos, from several years ago and just last year. β€œThe symbol for Yi (意), which is the spirit of Earth... it’s a combination of the open bowl of the heart, and on top of it, poetry or uttered sound, like a musical note. The spirit energy of Earth has to do with our intention being related to the heart.” β€” margit galanter Understanding Yi (Intention) invites us to align our mental focus directly with the heart’s resonance. As late summer deepens, we invite you to explore this connection through movement, sound, and stillness. πŸŽ₯ Video by Archive Creative Director: Bay / Bahia, B3 Design Lab 🌾 Explore the Earth Archive & Fall Offerings: ~ Free Media Library: Listen to Earth meditations on SoundCloud & watch practice videos on YouTube ~ Full Earth Videos: Available for viewing at Vimeo via link in bio, these are available for sale ~ Qi Breathing ~ Mon, Sept 14 (Zoom), Free! ~ Fire Island Earth Gathering: Sept 18–20 ~ Fall 10-Week Qigong Program: Registration open πŸ”— Tap the link in bio to dive into the media archive and register for fall classes! #VividGrove #Yi #Qigong #EarthElement #TaoistArts by @vivid.grove
